1967 was a great year for all the cars produced, especially all the muscle cars, of which my favorite has bern and always will be the '67 Vette! Save the Wave Lou.
For GTO's...give me a '67. It is my favorite year for this model. I live on a dead-end street, very quiet. My neighbor bought a '65 GTO for his college age son. However, it's a stick and the kid cannot drive it and didn't want to learn how. It now sists in his garage. He seldom drives it, but when he does...I hear it! The kid moved on, never driving it. I joked that if it is ever missing...it wasn't me! I can't drive a stick either. Back to this car. Beautiful exterior color, grat dash! Great sound! Keep this guy's phone number...he has a couple of other classics in the garage! One yellow, one red!!
HI Brian, Happy to read you have a fun GTO in the neighborhood. Glad to read the details you enjoy this "Beautiful exterior color, great dash! Great sound!" NICE! Lou
🙋♂️THANKS LOU,DAN ,YOUR RIGHT ABOUT THE 67 ,THE YEAR YOU WERE BORN 🤗👍,LOVE ❤️ MARINER BLUE AND THE CRÈME INTERIOR ,RED LINE TIRES, AND THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS 🤗👍💚💚💚
What a great looking and great driving GTO! It is definitely in the right hands (and foot!) with Mr. Gallas. I don't think the dust will have a chance to settle on this car... Thanks, Lou!
Love the body style. I restored a ‘66 le Mans convertible. I bought a parts car that had factory air and moved the parts easily to my convertible. No tell-tale signs it wasn’t factory except the vin plate. It was easy with a donor car. Love this one and love the color. Thanks again Lou, another memory jog for me. The people you meet all seem so nice too!❤❤

A trip in time to the American muscle car kingdom. The 1967 Pontiac GTO convertible was the dream sports luxury car of the new wave groovy fashion era. Thanks for the video.
What a beauty of a 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible in that Mariner Turquoise color! I love the front with its split grille, with the GTO logo on one of these, its double vertical headlights and its hood adorned with that additional air duct and the arrow-style Pontiac shield. The cream combination of the interior is excellent; with those elegant seats and wood-trimmed instrument console and shifter. The final route was exciting with those accelerations (special mention for the last one, along with that final pass at full speed). Congratulations to Mr. Gallas, for this dream Convertible! Best regards, Lou!
Hey LOOUUUUU! Ahoy to my big bro with his awesome big grin right there. I just got back from a brief trip to Los Angeles (so wild to see my beautiful and magical City of Angels again after several decades! I was a young actor when I was last there.) and as I chill here in Brooklyn this morning having my coffee and a NY bagel with cream cheese, it is awesome to check in and see my big bro and this beautiful Pontiac GTO. WOW! You just know it, Lou-my sneakers blown right off my stocking feet and you catch those boys by extending a hand up a la Jose Cruz circa 1987. Me? Knocked out 😵😵and slung over Dan's right shoulder like the lightweight and chick crazy Robin I am lol 🤪🤪(his exhaust puts more than a baby to sleep). Oh man, this GTO.....magic....and that color-so striking and captures the rip roaring speedboat nature of these 60's speed machines so well. I really dig those wood inserts on the IP and the great build quality these Pontiacs had. The best part? Dan's peeling out and throwing you back in your seat a bit, with big grins!!! I am knocked out😵😵 in my limp stocking calves 'n feet and slung over his shoulder in a heartbeat-100%. Thanks for all the car guy big brother awesomeness, Lou! JV Johnny ⚾⚾
My parents had a 1966 LeMans 4-door and I took my driving test in it. What I really love about this beautiful convertible is that it has Pontiac's superb a/c! I always loved the Pontiac way of putting 5 vents for it in front, thereby allowing the fan speed to be lower, so as to better listen to that AM radio with top-40 hits. This is a great car to drive, a cousin of mine had the '66 GTO with the 4-speed. Thanks for sharing!
Hi LoveIsAll, Happy to read this car brings back memories of your Parents and your Cousins cars :-) Thank you for viewing, sharing, and you're welcome, Lou
A unique color that looks great on the '67 GTO and a nice engine in the 400. The convertible top makes this factory muscle car a truly enjoyable ride - gotta be thrilled for the owner who has himself an awesome summer ride. Two thumbs up guys : )
Great car Lou!....I really like the 60s Pontiacs. I remember that great color too, a neighbor had a Bonneville painted that shade. Hats off to Dan for driving the car correctly!

Hi Leroy, Happy to read this is one of your favorite Pontiacs and glad to read you had a Friend who had a 1967 GTO that sounds like some good times. You're welcome. Blessings received. God bless you too, Lou
The ‘66-‘67 GM mid-sizers (Chevy Malibu, Buick Skylark, Olds Cutlass, Pontiac LeMans/GTO) were some of the most beautiful cars ever made! Love that Coke bottle silhouette!
Hello Lou, I really enjoyed this video. It’s owner knows very well how to use that beautiful GTO. Greetings to its owner and to you for this wonderful video.
Beauty! Spectacular! Always liked the front signals, they used those on some other models, '64 Grand Prix, maybe some 2+2 Catalina. I dropped a 429 with tripower into a '67 GTO hardtop,... weeeeee! Goat story... Local guys called the GTX, Goatex, or goat x.
There is just no comparison between older cars like this GTO and the newer crap they are building today. I will stop driving altogether before being forced by the government to drive an EV. This car not only looks great, but it's got the sound too. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful car Lou don't think that I have ever seen a GTO that color before. My Uncle had a 67 GTO convertible that was white with a black convertible top and black interior 400 4 speed it was sold new at that I believe it was called Royal Pontiac dealership in Michigan that was famous for selling high performance GTOs, he sold it to have money for the restoration of his 70 Dodge Challenger R/T convertible.

A Childhood friends mother bought one of these brand new in 67'. Gray H/T with a black vinyl roof and Auto trans. Sounded like it had glasspack mufflers factory stock.
I would not be surprised if those bucket seats have the original upholstery. My dad had a 68 LeMans convertible for a few years in the 70s and the white vinyl seats were exceptionally sturdy. Perhaps they were enhanced in convertibles. Vinyl seats in my Mopars of the same era fell apart quickly.

A shift kit in the transmission would give it a good screech shifting into 2nd. The '66 GTO had a 389 V8, with a base 3-speed manual, optional 4-speed manual and the optional let-down of only a 2-speed automatic. 1967 was the first year that the TH-400 3-speed automatic was optional in any GM car outside of the full-sized GM cars. The '67 Corvette still only had a 2-speed PowerGlide option for an automatic.

Hey Louie this guy has my dream car that is my next call on my list you sure know how to torture me you know that right LOL PS what else does he have hiding back there I noticed right now I'm like Fred Sanford I'm about to have the big one at any moment now
Since I was born in 1951, during my teenage years in the 1960s a young man who was close to my age bought a Pontiac GTO from his relative. This Pontiac GTO had a rough idle because a racing camshaft had been installed in the engine. This Pontiac GTO had the two speed powerglide transmission. This exhaust system had been modified to a twin glass pack exhaust. Also the two exhaust pipes ended under the middle of the car. When I rode as a passenger in this car I noticed that the exhaust sound was unbearably loud. He also had the radio running at very high volume. So I did not like riding in this car. The sound level in this car was loud enough to cause hearing damage. Yet back in the 1960s this was how some people equipped their Pontiac GTO.
Used to work at parts house, and this Ford trans mechanic from the dealership a block away would come in getting parts for his 3x2 Rochester set up. Our parts house in 82 was an AC Delco dealer/jobber warehouse! Bowtie guy myself, but must admit and appreciate John Z started it at the Pontiac brand! Beautiful Protecto Plate car! And you're showing a rag top! Beautiful! 400cu in Rochester Q jet! Survivor? Maybe need to retard the timing a degree or two! F41 suspension? Th350 or 400?
It's a blue diamond 🔹 from " little lou" ha, it's nice man in all honesty. I would like to know more about you lou. I think you like these cars a lot, but I'm worried the profits of youtube would fog who you are when it comes to these cars. Sorry just being honest. I joke around on here, but not this time
@loucostabile This color is code L. All GM cars had it they just used different names. It's kind of a strange color at times it looks black, and others it looks green.
Hi, If you like this video, please click on SUPER THANKS ❤ with the $ in the middle which is the SUPER THANKS button under the video. Thank you! Lou

All the 67s had a TH400 with the 400 if it was automatic.
Hi Robert, Happy to read "Beautiful!" :-) Thanks for viewing and sharing your thoughts, Lou
Powerglide?
Power ride!
No, 67's actually had a turbo hydramatic 3 speed.
Lou, you seem lethargic. Didn't you eat your Wheaties?😆
Ed, NICE! I'll make sure to have a good breakfast....and lunch & dinner too!
Is the car for sale? Or near future? 😊
I'm not aware of this car being for sale.
Nice but a 67 GTO would blow your doors off ! I know because I had one!
NICE!
It's a blue diamond 🔹 from " little lou" ha, it's nice man in all honesty. I would like to know more about you lou. I think you like these cars a lot, but I'm worried the profits of youtube would fog who you are when it comes to these cars. Sorry just being honest. I joke around on here, but not this time
Big Hank, Happy to share the "blue diamond" with you.
Christmas car
This would be a nice gift.
@loucostabile This color is code L. All GM cars had it they just used different names. It's kind of a strange color at times it looks black, and others it looks green.
🙋♂️SIDE POINT… Back in the day, there were in the design department happy people who got their design included in unhappy ones that didn’t🤗🥹😁
Thank you for sharing Budget Audiophile Life-long.
