thanks, Carl did you catch my video on no more ghost pedaling on the Lectric trike? Same can be done to the Mooncool I know you were complaining about the ghost pedalling
@@GarysE-BikeAdventures I did! I decided I wanted a torque sensor and something a little bigger for me so I ordered an Addmotor Grandtan X. Should be coming in July. I’ll let you know when it’s in.
Thank you for addressing the ghost pedaling speed. That is what I am looking for to determine which trike to buy since I want one for exercise . Does the MC350 have alot of ghost pedaling?
No, that bike has seven speeds on it so it does not ghost pedal but that thing comes in a lot of pieces just so you know. If you can afford to get the TK1 I would highly recommend it. It’s a really nice bike. I have a video from a competitors bike. that I change the crank to eliminate the ghost pedaling it can be done the same on this bike. It’s the exact same thing. I will leave a link for it for you to watch if you would like please use my links if you choose to buy a bike even the one I’m going to link to I have links to that bike also. Thanks in advance
@@ldemunbrun5834 honestly it depends the PAS level you put it in. Most of my bikes I try to pedal above the assist level that way there I’m getting exercise but not killing myself but I can tell you that Lectic trike goes only to 14.5 mph so I tried to pedal it 15 to 16 miles an hour if I’m going downhill even faster. My wife has pretty much taking over my TK1 and she doesn’t want to pedal too much so I’m leaving it alone. I ride the Lectric XP trike so that’s why I added the crank to that one.
I like the MC350 due to its classic looks, plus I just prefer the older chrome handlebars, etc. Yes, it’s much cheaper but in the end it’s not by much because I’m going to need the services of a bike shop to put it together, and who knows what that’s going to put me back for. That’s the price you pay for being mechanically challenged. 🙄😊
Mooncool has suspension fork, turn signals and a horn other than that they are pretty much the same almost identical except for the frame. The Lectric has a stronger motor and proven customer service.
@@GarysE-BikeAdventures I am getting the one from Hollywood, but the limit is 80lbs. If it's over engineered 90 might be safe. Edit: Nevermind. It seems if you use a bike and a trike on it, the bike limit is 80, but the trike is 90.

Great job!
OK, thanks!
The year of the Trike🚴 Well done Gary.
Great video. The TK1 is worth the extra money in my opinion.
Great comparison Gary, I suppose the TK1 is best for longer range riding and also for going to the market to buy stuff?

Is the pedaling enough resistance to get exercise like a torque sensor gives?

So what are your thoughts between the Lectric and the TK1?
Mooncool has suspension fork, turn signals and a horn other than that they are pretty much the same almost identical except for the frame. The Lectric has a stronger motor and proven customer service.
Tk1 all day imo
Only big downside to the TK 1 is that it weighs 90 lbs so most people aren’t going to be able to take it anywhere.
I have a trike rack on my car but yeah, you’re not gonna fold it and throw it in the back of the car
