I'm Brazilian but while I was watching several videos of The Voice this song caught my attention due to the calm that he sings this song, I remember a lot of my past I loved it loved it
Heres what i learned from these. Post is a hell of a vocalist. Not one can touch his range or the emotion he puts into his lyrics. Not one of these can fill his BOOTS 🤠👢⭐
I usually don’t care for singing shows, but I randomly came across this and I gotta say these ppl are by far more talented than the ones I used to see in other singing competitions, especially the Asian guy. I still can’t believe that voice came from that guy. Crazy skilled.
This song Feels so familiar -like being married 15 years and every fight is the same but I never realized it “we couldn’t turn around” till one day we stumble into the same exact fight and I begin to realize how familiar it is, “we were upside down” I’d been here so many times. I was like “we do this every time” but not this time, this time I’m conscious. I never recognized it before but somehow we had just been going around in “circles” the entire time. Neither one of us is happy but we “can’t let go”. Can’t “let go” of our pride. We “run away” from our own accountability. “Run away” from self reflection. “Run away” from humility and honesty. My Fight Circle repeated just like this: she’d be like; “ “I’m waiting on you, again” to “take the blame” to apologize and “feed the flame”, bring me flowers, grovel at my feet, write me a miserable love note, sing me a pathetic love song so that I don’t ever have to self reflect, I’ll stay safe within these walls I’ve built around me so that I don’t have to admit there’s anything about myself that I could change. “ So I’m like; Fine, “Ill be the bad guy now, no I’m not too proud”. So by never letting her take any responsibility I rob her of growth, she never learns from her mistakes, I let her think those were all me. Her behavior repeats because I enabled it. How could we expect the relationship to go anywhere but “circles” if we’re not both progressing and becoming better people by admitting our mistakes, taking responsibility for our actions, and holding each other accountable. When both parties apologize and make improvements you can grow closer and progress at least in a zigzag pattern, no couple can walk a straight line but we can avoid “circles”. In the story of “Sleeping Beauty” the Princess and the Dragon are one and the same creature. You fall in love with a “hot” princess then when the honeymoon stage wears off and your in your first real fight her finger is pricked on the spindle, she falls under a spell and goes to sleep while her “ugly” dragon comes out. She is unconscious the dragon even exists. You must consciously, kindly and lovingly Slay the Dragon but only if in the name of love. When she breathes her fiery darts at you Humility should be your only defense, this “Shield of Virtue” will awaken the virtue of Humility within her. Honesty is the Only weapon you should ever attack her with, only your “Sword of Truth” can pierce through her scales of pride to help awaken the Honesty within her. As you sow the seeds of Honesty and Humility they will become conscious within her. The only way to awaken her true lasting “beauty” is through this true loves kiss. This applies to men as well, we are unconscious of our prideful egotistical dragons but we can be woken by your virtue of humility and honest truth.
