You must even choose a song that suits your voice and if it means it must be a popular song to get the audience on their feet, the you do exactly that. Get your foot at the door. If you pass the first stage, then you'll get proper training, coaching and advice. Not so?

I really dont like the blocking thing they do. It doesnt allow the singers to choose whomever they want as a coach. It can definately change their opportunities
I used to lose my mind when it happens too!! Especially when the contestant style is suited for a particular Coach but that's the beauty of the competition. Being able to change the course of the contestant with just a button; giving added advantages to the Coaches as this is their show, they're there to win too. Let's hope our favourite contestants won't go through it hahaha!

most of the coaches had no room left in their teams and guy the person that turned and broke the rules but he said he was too good to let go
if you watch the original audition video it shows them arguing about it afterwards
It’s because only delta had space left on her team and she was looking for a different kind of voice but guy new his voice was far far far too good to let go so he had to try something.
