As a black woman born in England to Caribbean parents, this behaviour reminds me of the 1970’s. I have experienced racism from both white English people and through my son experienced racism from Muslims when they threatened to beat my son with a baseball bat if he didn’t convert to Islam whilst attending a secondary school in Bethnal Green! This was in the late 1990’s and a friend told me he attended the same school and in his day, late 60’s 70’s it was English thugs attacked black pupils and of course in all instances the teachers said they would “sort it out” and nothing was ever done. I believe that if we didn’t have laws stating that racial abuse was a crime. Most white English would be showing their true colours!!!
People forget also the British Empire living in other peoples countries using them as servants in Africa especially South Africa also India calling Africans savages. After the Second World War we needed extra manpower to build homes and drive buses so we asked for people to come to the UK to help and as you say became targets for racial abuse.

Most of these people taking to the streets either are or think they are disenfranchised . It’s ironic in that in general it’s in working class inner city communities where the most true assimilation has taken place. What the extreme right political agenda has done is ignite the latent historical racism embedded in the white working class from colonial times. Poor Whites were one step up from slaves and then after fhe war when incomes increased and there were surplus unskilled jobs needing to be filled black and brown skinned people started to arrive. The concern on the part of the ruling classes was of cohesion and that’s why these old fears and hatred’s have been stirred up by the establishment. The bulldog is snarling but whose leash is it on

What is Aaron talking about about unfair advantages? Should Michael Phelps, Katie Ledecky & Simone Biles be banned because they're too good due to how they were born and their training? Why is it only when trans and possibly intersex people get involved that their advantages are considered unfair?
Strange that we never see trans men competing with men, only trans women competing against women. Do men have an advantage over trans men? Men and women are more or less equal until puberty, then men become faster, stronger, have quicker reactions, more bone density, etc. Why have men and woman's sports, just let them compete together that's fair as apparently there's no difference.
Why do you think there are separate categories for woman ??? It's because being a man is a disproportionately unfair advantage. Maybe we should get rid of all the hard work that feminist have fought for and open it all up to men, Which would mean no more women on the podium. Why should women have to suffer because a man feels good about himself to be called a woman... ???
I've seen this argument before. What you are saying is that there should be no male or female categories. The solution is actually to have a third inclusive category.

@@kenjohnston2531 Boxing is always brutal to watch in my opinion. I've never seen a boxing match and thought to myself: "what an inspirationally dignified and skillful demonstration of style and grace". But I suppose its a profession and that they're all consenting adults. As explained, in this instance the athlete has a rare condition whereby they have the outward physical characteristics of a woman but the chromosomes of a man, and so perhaps is arguably biologically neither / both a man / woman. I'm going to refer to her as a female because she identified as such and was raised as a girl and I assume only started to look a bit masculine when puberty started. As mentioned she has lost 9 fights out of the last 45 to other women, so it's debatable as to whether her condition gives her much of an unfair advantage. I believe that the argument against her competing as a woman is that her condition may give her more testosterone and hence more muscle mass than an average woman. But she may well still yet loose the tournament to another less ambiguous woman as she has before. Will people still say she has an unfair advantage then? But I feel a bit sorry for her because she can't compete as a man and gets flack for competing as a woman - so what is she supposed to do? 10 years ago we would not have had the technology to test for chromosomes and so would not even know about this. Maybe there were past female sports heros with a similar condition that we never knew about. What I find most upsetting is people trying to turn this into a culture war issue when it's just a medical anomaly. Other than that I don't like boxing so couldn't care less. I personally find all boxing unpleasant to watch. It makes me wince, but I accept that other people like it. I suspect that gambling and the prize money might be a large part of the attraction?
you not heard of the 2nd person perspective? 1st=I did this 2nd person=they did this 3rd person+ i saw them do this they is still gramatically correct in this instance, it is also a gender neutral way to refer to someone don't get your fake culture war in a twist over words, grow a spine and stop overreracting about nothing
@@knuckles543 That isn’t my issue, I know it’s grammatically correct. It’s just that given that she’s a woman who’s been repeatedly and cruelly accused of being ‘really a man’, it seems a bit weird to be going with a gender neutral pronoun when talking about her. It kind of implies the questioning of her gender is legitimate. I’m not sure he used ‘they’ to refer to any other woman in the story?

Why are you avoiding the use of she/ her for Imane? She is a woman. You've even said she is a woman, but you've continuously used neutral pronouns when referring to her.
The XY thing might be true. But there is no evidence currently and the origin is a Russian telegram rumor mill. It's largely being posted by the people having a shit-fit she was trans seconds before, so it seems more like goal post moving and/or cope.
actually when it happened it was due a high testosterone levels (after beating a popular Russian boxer). Then they withdrew that, and she was allowed to continue. Then the IBA changed it and said it was a sex test with no evidence. Confusing as heck.
@@stevenponte6655 and thus the IOC has essentially strpiped them of accreditation and access to testing i''ll take thei word over shady russian ran orgs
There is an element of clarity you could try to introduce here around which both "sides" talk nonsense. Biological sex is not defined by XX vs. XY chromosomes because many animals (crocodiles - temperature; fish - social rank; birds and butterflies - ZW chromosomes; ants, bees wasps - haplodiploidy, to name a few) have different sex determination mechanisms. Sex is actually scientifically unambiguously defined by relative gamete size: small sperm vs. large eggs. So, maybe NM could begin to introduce basic science into the debate rather than fuzzily going along with the culture wars straw man that's being propagated. Doing so, eventually, the debate (ahem!) may move forward.

So if an average immigrant pays 500 000pounds in taxes in their lifetime and they use 1 000 000pounds in taxes in their lifetime, society is in a worst position than before. You also pay attention to the net-worth of the top 5-1%, compared to the bottom 95% and see if their wealth is growing or decreasing at comparable rates over time. People forget also the British Empire living in other peoples countries using them as servants in Africa especially South Africa also India calling Africans savages. After the Second World War we needed extra manpower to build homes and drive buses so we asked for people to come to the UK to help and as you say became targets for racial abuse.

What we are seeing is not just to do with race of religion. The UK far more than any other western country has an entrenched class system .

f**k it... do only 1 category for humans? Equality for everyone
I've seen this argument before. What you are saying is that there should be no male or female categories. The solution is actually to have a third inclusive category.
@@hedonaut NO I am actually saying do away with Male / Female. Stick to the spirit of the Olympics... the best human in that particular sport. If women are better they can front 100m sprinting, or GrecoRoman Wrestling. Inclusive right?!

Lisa is spot on about Huw Edwards, but of course the hard left wing luvvies don’t want to talk about him, do they?

@@knuckles543 That isn’t my issue, I know it’s grammatically correct. It’s just that given that she’s a woman who’s been repeatedly and cruelly accused of being ‘really a man’, it seems a bit weird to be going with a gender neutral pronoun when talking about her. It kind of implies the questioning of her gender is legitimate. I’m not sure he used ‘they’ to refer to any other woman in the story?

How are we stalinists?
But you socialist are anti religion.
Yeah true you are not stalinist. You are marxists.

Look at the tax paid by each tax bracket and then compare the tax used by each of those tax brackets.
@@stevesmith1923 how does that determine whether or not migration only benefits the rich?
@@dirtfarmstudio9829 Because you can determine if you are getting a net benefit in monetary terms as a society. They sell immigration as being a net benefit to society. You also have to consider postive and negative externalites in addition to the simple calculation I just mentioned. Multi-culturalism sucks and diversity makes society weaker not stronger.
