Shigaraki really went from decaying elbow skin to wiping out an entire city. The glow up is crazy.
Back then I feel like he could’ve done worse to Eraser considering he turned UA’s metal security door into rust like was nothing.
@@adambump5297 eraser stopped him from doing anything more by erasing his quirk. It wasnt shigaraki being merciful,it was aizawa being a pro. He was still damaged but managed to avoid total disintegration.

He touched aizawa for several Seconds and it did no serious damage. Pretty meh
Actually it was always this scary, Shigaraki is similar to twice on the fact that they had this mental lock that prevented them from using their quirk to its full potential, which is why Aizawa lived
little tenko shimura decayed his entire house by just touching the ground, and his mom was decayed too for touching the cracks on the ground while reaching to hug him
I don't know what's more disrespectful: the fact that Shigaraki stole X-Less's cape or that it looks so much better on him than the original owner.
I love the part at 0:47 where it shows Shigaraki wearing the red cape and all of the debris floating around him, especially the huge metal pipes. That part just screams Akira to me.
Yeah, this is definitely a reference to Testsuo's power trip.

As an anime only I’ve really enjoyed the tone switch through out the series, first 2 seasons were about a hero with unparalleled strength that faught to protect & now the latest last 2 seasons has been about a surge of calamity brought down by a man that has evolved into a God of Destruction

@Will of FIre Shigaraki wins low - mid diff, Pain's limitations hold him back severely, Shigaraki has no limitis to how much damage he can cause. The Deva Path got one shotted by a rasenggan while Shigaraki took an attack that was similar to a nuclear bomb.
If Shigaraki kills the Human Path and The one who summons The Gate of Hell. Well it's over for Pain lol. Everything Pain throws at him will be mad countered by Decay. Not to mention, Shiggy has all of AFO's quirks to his disposal. He can regenerate instantly.
It's a pretty big mismatch, even base EMS Madara would die by Shiggy. But Edo Rinnegan Madara wins. If Shiggy was in the Naruto Universe. He'd probably rank higher than High Kage Level. Almost towards Legend Level to Demi God level.

This was such an enormous jump for the series, my wife and I were shook during this whole sequence. MHA reached new heights and really showed how strong Shigaraki is compared to AFO.
Still not as powerful as AFO was in his prime.

@@Gizmetti "not even close" is not quite correct. This version of Shiggy should be a lot more powerful than Kamino AFO and is definetely a reminder of AFOs prime. My money would still be on prime AFO at this point due to more experience and versatility but Shigaraki is probably close to his level.

Bruh, they really made this guy go from a 3 out of 10 to probably in my current top 10 anime villains.
from s1-s5e19 he was so basic, from s520-s6e5 he became one of the best villains in anime in the last decade. What a great transition from Horikoshi. The music, the themes, the backstory

Remember when he had to touch a specific object or human with all his fingers to activate decay and it wasn't even that fast..now look at him destroying cities in seconds.
Shigaraki's decay actually follows and decays anything that is connected to what he is touching,so if he is touching the ground then everything that is attached to the ground will get decayd as well.
The decay also travels very far..
Easily the most destructive quirk of them all!!
Shigaraki has awakened and we are all here for it

I love how the soundtrack is a slowed down to perfection version of "Symbol of fear" it fits the moment perfectly.
Years ago when I read this it was the craziest part of my hero at the time. The panels were insane. Now it’s getting animated and they did not disappoint. Bout to be a good season.

They did great work on this anime. Like everything and everyone turn into dust, while showing the cracks of tomura quirk. Show to tomura, no matter if something is big or small, he will destroy it.
The situation is now out of control, we need the presence of All Might again, Shigaraki will show no mercy this time.

@@carsonic21 if he was in his prime he can obliterate shigaraki, all might probably the representative of superman in anime which means he can punch full force and full speed which means shigaraki can't tell where those punches would land or in an easy example superman x flash combined force. At current situation no can't beat him unless deku can do some cheat on his power so he can use it a full strength.

For an anime that hasn't really killed anyone this season sure is setting a different tone going forward. Shigaraki crumbling the city and the heroes, the OST, and overall feel sent chills down my spine. Can't wait for more!

The music just makes this scene more terrifying than it already is.
Waiting for every episode to drop and watching them is the equivalent to getting an ultimate cheeseburger combo with large curly fries and a Cherry Fanta drink at Jack in the box. No cap. Every episodes been perfect and they never get old. Mha season 6 has really kicked off fast, one of the best anime this season
This kind of rapid growth is rare tbh even in anime. The kind of threats and deaths caused are unprecedented. Brilliant show.
Shigaraki has his own boss music
This dude started as a Tiger level threat in season 1-4 and ended up as a Dragon level threat in season 5-6.
Now the real fight begins.

Every episode has been so good. I thought episode 1 was just gonna be calm but they threw us right it. I’m actually glad they did that cause it made a really strong opening episode, and each episode has just been getting better and better

This, right here, is the true villain of My Hero Academia. Where Deku is the successor of the Symbol of Peace, Shigaraki is the successor of the Symbol of Evil, and now both have become a hero/villain in their own right; going beyond their predecessors in many ways.
With everything built up, it would be really stupid if the story were to have anyone hijack Shigaraki's position as the main villain...

@GauravSmmg yeah it is. "Symbol of Fear" feels like a remix of "All for My Sake" even thought it came before but still like both themes.
He went from damaging an elbow, to destroying a sword, to killing a man within a second (in his first encounter with Overhaul), to killing a group of people only touching one, to level CITIES.
What was the ost playing in this scene, it represents destruction the best in this show, I got to listen to it again

To anyone who was wondering about Shiggy vs prime AFO, the answer is Shiggy, for one specific reason: _intent_ .
AFO was capable of this same level, or even worse, but just didn't care enough to do anything. Tomura though, as a very specifec goal: to tear Hero Society down

@@MarouaneTF 75% Shigaraki is close to All Might in strength, but not equal. The Doctor stated that such heavy remodeling would been too much of a burden on his brain. So, he's weaker, in strength alone, than the USJ Nomu.
Star and stripe's skyscraper sized lasers and suneater's plasma cannon with the range of miles and miles away did not even harm shigaraki in any way shape or form, what makes you think a tiny laser child play could prevent him from waking up let alone scratching him lol. With his all might level speed at 75% he would've blitzed x-less so badly before he could even move an inch of his eyes just like what happened in the anime

@@Mauri2rawww imo this has a way more epic undertone of dread. Or at least that is what adding all these string instruments do to this particular piece.
The symbol of fear piece is more of a rock-piece, while this is just chilling to listen to.
