Very informative! I also have my reservations when it comes to animals being out of their natural habitat, hence my reason for not taking my kids to places like the circus, Seaworld, aquariums (for large species).

@TriniKnockabout I went to the zoo when I was a child and lived in Trinidad. The zoos here in NYC are very different, I've taken my kids once just for the experience. We also have a Safari in NJ that allows the animals to be a little more "free".

At first glance i was wondering if this was trini zoo i feel ive never seen the animals so lively 🙈
I personally as a nature lover and also a wildlife photographer. Growing up as a youngster I remember visiting that zoo many times on school trips, I have never seen much value in animal jails aka zoos, the animals are in cramp quarters they are always stressed, reasons why they walk round and around their cell constantly, some are just resigned to their fate and lay around all day (normally in the wild they will be roaming enjoying the freedom and wild instinct).
Yes they are fed at certain times at the animal jail and given medical attention to prolong their life within their cell so they can make money for the jail owners (pretty much as the human jail system, the difference is that the wild animals did nothing wrong) they were born to be wild and free.
I do hope that the government would consider expanding the jail a few more acres and putting these animals in much much larger quarters by even if it means moving the jail to somewhere else.
This is not about you or your video, it is about animal jails globally. I understand what your video is about, the education and enlightenment, the children are always amazed at the site of those real animals.......if they only knew at what cost to the animals.
