Inspired by the life and message of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the Sri Sathya Sai Premaarpitham Foundation has set up the Sri Sathya Sai Vaidyalayam, a multi-speciality rural hospital that caters to the medical needs of the villagers. Situated in the picturesque Sri Sathya Sai Vaatsalyam, Uyamballi, Karnataka, this rural hospital offers specialized care in general medicine, orthopaedics, dentistry, ophthalmology, general surgery, paediatrics, and gynaecology at no cost to the patients. Notably, the hospital's well-equipped lab facility provides all lab tests free of cost, reflecting the spirit of selfless service.
Designed with consultation rooms, a five-bed operating theatre, and a dedicated team of medical professionals, Sri Sathya Sai Vaidyalayam is committed to making quality healthcare a reality for the rural poor. Patients receive personalized follow-ups and free medicines from the in-house pharmacy, while complimentary dining and lodging services are provided to the relatives of in-patients.
This rural hospital is a collective offering to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the nation, and the world.
