Amazing how he can recognize that when SF went soft zone, the eagles scored! Yet he allows Desai scheme to be soft zone for 60 minutes and then wonders why the defense gives up so many points

I know before the season he said he was gonna be involved in overseeing what they do. To me personally it feels like he has not and maybe allowed them to grow in they roles both being new coordinators. If that's true. He needs to evacuate that plan because we have a superbowl season on the line. Week in and week out we allow teams to catch the ball and get get yards after the catch. We do miss alot of tackles from our lbs and everyone loves reid Blankenship cause he gets picks but no one mentions him REPEATEDLY getting torched in the red zone. Everytime someone catches a touchdown go see where Blankenship was too SLOW TOOO DAMN SLOW to cover at the level we need out a full timer. He should play. But not full time. We already play rookies. I'm sick of seeing Eli Rick's covering the other teams top play maker in the slot. Sick of Christian Ellis looking like a deer in headlights. He can play too but he not ready mentally. Marlon tolotuptu or w.e is always in when we allow big runs. And gets no qb pressure. We gotta get it together. We ran the ball down they throats last year and ran it 9 times today? Why the 49ers can start off with negative yards on 2 drives and still feed cmc but we can't

Eagles play vanilla football, always in the shotgun, no movement before the play, no trickery, no nothing. The 2017 team was not predictable like this team, and also that team had alot of fun.
We had a 3 headed monster at RB that year with jay ajayi legarette Blount and Kenjon Barner which I would sell my left nut to have today.

Our OC and DC suck imo…we are 10-2 with a completely new coaching staff. I thought this year was gonna be a transition year but we only have 2 losses so far. That’s way less than I thought we would have.
Listen i said this before they even played the game. When i watched Shanahan's press conference he said they can get first downs not touchdowns. Well he backed it up by having a good scheme and not giving up TD's.
If you actually look the way 49ers played, as the game progressed after the first quarter they were basically backing up their talk especially deebo by flat going through the middle of our defense letting them know we are better than you.
While we all know the offense has more talent than the defense for the Eagles. The scheme did not change aganist the 49ers defense that is why there was good amount of coverage sacks. It was like 49ers knew exactly what the receivers were going to do and they were shadowing them step by step. Seeing this, BJ still didn't change up his scheme to make Jalen's life easier by having receivers run shorter or more creative routes that can get the ball out of Jalen's hands faster. That is why we saw Jalen hold the ball too long take sacks or throw ball away because the 49ers figured out our scheme and we never changed it.
49ers used the 10 days they had to prepare for eagles very wisely and devised a good gameplan and they stuck with it which helped them get this W.

We are still waiting for this team to play their best game after 12 games. Yes we have 10 wins we will take it. But every week it seems like the opposing team seems to have our game plan in their back pocket. It seems like it’s coming back to haunt us now when the games really start to count.
They got used to falling behind in first half and coming back in the second but they played a real team this time. It shows that these guys beat a bunch of nobody’s.
It has nothing to do with that it's our offense being exposed when playing a good team. We were in the redzone twice at the beginning of the game and got field goals which won't work against good teams

Eagles LB core is the Problem in Philly!! Opponents have been killing the middle of the field. I know offensive line an defensive line is a priority but the LB core is an important part of the game. An a little priority in that spot would benefit them.
We need to hire Frank Reich as an offensive consultant because inexperience gets us out-coached. Every week, we keep abandoning the run. Our Defense isn't that good to be going 3 and outs because we decided to throw deep on 2nd and 8...We sure don't play like we are on 1st and 9...

Betcha linebacker is of importance now. Letting T.J. Edwards walk aged really well. This defense was not gonna be top by any stretch this year. But I at least was banking on the offense running and looking competent this year to carry the D.

I don’t understand why you don’t prepare for a game of this magnitude? I think because we won games, the coaches settle with the lack of performance both offensively and defensively. Get back to what you do well and run the ball and make it easier on your QB. Defense needs to be more aggressive, which has already proven to mask our deficiencies on the backend and the defense looks much better having the D-Line lead.

@@Linc-227 a soft coach that can get outcoached by almost anyone. You're veterans and talent got you most of those wins. But in this league especially at the end, it mostly comes down to good coaching. It won't feel good if you're team is a powerful one or two seed being held back by an average regular seasonish' type coach.
