- Lee Anderson has doubled down on his criticism of Sadiq Khan and refused to apologise for remarks that sparked an Islamophobia row, as Rishi Sunak came under pressure to call out his words as Islamophobic.
The former Tory deputy chairman on Monday admitted his original remarks were “clumsy”, but said saying sorry “would be a sign of weakness”.
It came after the Prime Minister broke his silence on the matter to denounce Mr Anderson’s comments that cost him the Conservative whip as “wrong”.
The Ashfield MP was suspended over the weekend after he claimed “Islamists” had “got control” of Mr Khan and London.

If there were ever any proof needed that Sadiq Khan is controlled by Islamists you only need to cast your mind back to his first TV interview following the London Bridge and Borough Market attacks.
Not only was he in hiding for 2 or 3 days following these attacks with no response at all from him, or his office.
When he did finally appear on morning TV ,following the backlash from the public for his silence on these horrific attacks, he stated and I quote " Its part and parcel of living in a big city", no mention of the words Islamist or Radical Islamists carrying out these attacks, despite a MET statement saying it was, no condemnation of these terrorists and didn`t even use the term terrorists to describe them.
He was wheeled out later in the day to hastliy back track on his first interview after the biblical bollocking he was receiving from the general public and to prevent further damage to his allready destroyed reputation over his handling of crime, knife attacks and piss poor leadership as Mayor and that crass first interview on morning TV.
He sanctioned every Palastine demonstration we have seen in London, where open support of Hamas was rife and which has now decended into the violence we now see in London. MP`s targets at their own homes and even the house of commons, all under the protection of Sadiq Khan.
Ian Collins should wake up and grow a pair of balls just like Lee Anderson has done, the majority of the British public agree totaly with Lee Andersons comments on Sadiq Khan.

And the abysmal happenings in the commons last Thursday is an example of where Starmer should have questions to answer on his fears and his own Islamophobia despite the BS he said about who he sees as the “cowards” in this program.
