We gave a new sport a go & overall, I’m very impressed.
Atmosphere was brilliant, now I’m Ravens til I die!! Let’s reach the Super Bowl 🟣🟣
when are you posting the dulwich vs Kingstonian vlog
Where is ThogUncle??😁😇
Wait didn't you go last year
I was at the game aswell today for the first time absolutely loved it
You should go watch college football if you ever go to the states
Atmosphere in college games is 10x better than in the nfl
Thanks for giving American football a go! Much love from Maryland! 🦀🏈
GO RAVENS
I’m from Maryland too
Marylanders in the house!
@@gelb598 MARRYYYLANDDD
Maryland kingdom
Moved there this year.
As an American I love people around the world watch our football (NFL) Nice video. From Wisconsin, USA
Im German and love NFL. I´ve been watching it for 2 months now and I absolutely love it! And a Chelsea supporter as well
@@corocx_9084 Fellow Chiefs fan here. I hope we can put on a show for the Germans. Also A Chelsea fan. But how come you're not a Bayern or Dortmund fan?
Go bears from Chicago
Green Bay fan here 👍
@@SportsFan838 I´m a Jaguars fan btw. Actually I am a Bayern fan, since I was like 3. But with the time passing by, I wanted to watch premier league football. And Chelsea were just great at this time. So I support Bayern and Chelsea
Glad you guys enjoyed the game. Londoners were amazing hosts. Go Ravens!!!
If you ever come to the states, you have to come to a college football game. If you think the environment you were in was wild try going to Ann Arbor (Michigan), Penn State, Ohio State, LSU, something like that. It'll be a million times more insane and crazy. Regardless thank you for giving our football a chance and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Facts
From what I’ve seen college football crowds seem to be more similar to the English football crowd than the nfl, just wish we had tailgating in England
This
Honestly college football games have equal or better atmospheres than Futbol games in Europe
@@Flyingwithoutmings Tailgating on a wet, winter's day with the rain pouring down? It might catch on but then again...
Fun fact: American football is called “Gridiron Football” 🏈, just like football ⚽️ is technically “Association Football.”
in past I called it american football. now I call it nfl. in future I will be calling it gridiron football. what a goofy ah name
@@harold7775 “gridiron” is the what the field is called, like how you call it the “pitch”
Back in the day, when the game was played more similar to Rugby, the look of the field (with the white lines every 5 years and hashmarks going vertically, making the field kinda look like a grid) was the main difference from Rugby before the forward pass was legalized in 1906.
@@harold7775NFL is the professional league. You still have College Football which is CFB
@harold7775 never watched gridiron gang???? Wow
That is true, but also "Gridiron Football" is an umbrella term for all types of football that are similar to American Football, i.e. Canadian Football and Arena Football.
Another Fun Fact: The first two official College Football games we played between Rutgers and Princeton and the first game was played with rules very similar to Soccer (I believe their were goalies and goals were scored rather than touchdowns and everything) and the second played with rules much more similar to Rugby. Obviously the Rugby-like rules ended up being preferred and the game developed from there.
Gridiron comes from the field originally having solid lines painted every 5 yards in both directions, so the field was very much divided up into a grid.
Love seeing my neighbors across the pond enjoying some American football GO RAVENS!
Honestly the big lads like Cleveland are the most impressive athletes on the field. 6 foot 7 inches, 300 pounds, and they're faster and more agile than the everyday person.
"Larry Allen! Look at this, folks! 6'3", 325 pounds! I'm telling you that is one of the greatest athletic feats I have ever seen."
Bro could not take his eyes off the cheerleaders 💀
Nice video. Glad you all had a good time enjoying one of our biggest past times. Go Ravens!
American football is a very underrated sport. I’m getting into it at the moment and was visiting my friend in Baltimore last week. We drove to Pittsburgh to see the Ravens play the Steelers. Not the result we wanted but it was an incredible experience. Wish I could have made it to London this week for this game too
As an American, I can tell you that it is definitely overrated. Some people just like it because they’re parents liked it, the only passionate fan base is the bills. Just to clarify, I am not a bills fan and I only love real football ⚽️
@@DiegoPeruzzabills are not the only passionate fan base. Where'd you get that from?
@@RedZone_Productions comparing it to European fanbases the bills mafia is the only fan base that can be considered passionate

You picked a great match to attend. The Steelers vs Ravens is one of the best and toughest
long standing rivalries in the NFL. The teams are often equally matched, and it's always a slugfest.
This was a great video! Great to have you on board as a Ravens fan. Much respect, from Baltimore City, Md.
You really need to give ice hockey a try. It is in my opinion the most entertaining sport to watch in person. It's really fast, physical and the players are so skilled. I'd suggested you to go see an NHL game if you ever come to Canada or the US. There's even a league called the EIHL in the UK, it's no where near the same level as the NHL but still as entertaining. It's a league known for his physicality. Probably the most underrated sport in the planet
Montreal Vlog to see CF Montreal and Habs
Let me tell you about hurling if you think ice hockey is good
@@justjamie5006 it's a very foreign sport to me but definitely looks interesting after watching a video of it!
imo football and NFL is better but ice hockey is better than basketball.Football>NFL>Ice Hockey>Basketball

I'm glad yall had a good time. thanks for supporting the nfl and go ravens 😈
Baltimore fan from California! Thank you for this, glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for watching! Much appreciated.
I'm glad that you and your dad got to see an NFL Game. A couple of things:
- Beckham is Odell Beckham, Jr. who is an outstanding Wide Receiver. IF you ever have a chance, look up his one handed catch against the Dallas Cowboys, which is regarded as one of the greatest catches of all time.
- I will echo what several others have said - if you do come to the US to catch an American Football Game, definitely catch a College Football Game in addition an NFL game - the atmospheres are different.
This is NOT the first time youve watched the nfl blud 😭🙏
In person probably yes
It is so unmemorable that he has forgotten he went last year:)
For his dad maybe but he went with his friend some time go to a nfl game in london.
he made a video on it too. calling it the "1st time" then. him and his dad.... why the clickbait?
no it aint@@cerrgaming1220
Great video! Love to see you backing my Ravens now 😊
It'll make a lot more sense after you learn the game, rules & positions. Keep going to the games and spreading the love.
Imagine Neymar everytime he got hit 🤣
I can't imagine he will get suspend every time lmao
I think whole team will get red card after 🤣🤣🤣🤣
If you guys ever want to come to Baltimore to experience a Ravens game, including a pre-game tailgate (food and beer), I'll have two tickets waiting for you in Section 510. I had two Brits wonder into my tailgate a few years back wanting to experience an NFL game, so me and my friends made sure they had a great time. As they were walking to the stadium with us to go to the game, they said "I don't care what happens with the game, that was f*&in' awesome!".
I'm from Baltimore and we thank you for the video. It was so entertaining watching you both 😆. You have a new sub
You guys are awesome !
I love that Dad and Son went together, to see American "Football" !
The whole game experience can definitely be a sensory overload from tailgating beforehand to after game partying. I be to M&T Bank stadium in Baltimore for the Seahawks game on my birthday and the Bengals game on the 16th of November. I cant wait !
As a Ravens fan in Maryland I really enjoyed this. Thanks!
This is your 2nd American Football game last year you saw the Minnesota Vikings play the New Orleans Saints which ended up in the Minnesota Vikings winning on a double doink field goal miss by New Orleans
Yes wondered why he was lying about that???😑
He probably meant his dad maybe
Glad you enjoyed it, it is a really incredible sport and im glad you gave it a try!
Thogden should make an American Football channel like he did with F1.
no

From Indiana, USA. This is what these intercontinental games are about! Thank you for sharing your experience! It does my heart good to know that others that haven’t had the chance to enjoy American football, get a chance to experience some of the best.
Offsides in NFL is when a player is over the line where they place the ball.
How could it be your first time if you went last year? 😂

This is one of my favorite English Football channels watching my favorite American football team (Ravens)! It's the content I never knew I needed. Great stuff. Thanks for the video.
Big fan of football (European ) but let me tell you if the lions my home team make it to the supper bowl I would cry in the fetal position.

Great content as always! Good stuff Theo!
As an American, its awesome watching people from other countries see Football for the first time and have a blast. Great video!
American Football is a spectacle for sure! Great video. Checking in from New York, USA
absolutely fantastic video from you and your father! i truly loved your commentary and footage lad! much love from Baltimore, Maryland! come to a game here one day man🤞🏾
next, you should watch college american football. just as much competition, better atmosphere.
Please watch " World#s Best Football Fans: Ultras/Europe" and see how it compares, my friend.
Let me know what you think about this RUclips Video.
Awesome video! I’m a lifelong Ravens fan, and if you ever get the chance to come to America I’ll take you and your dad to a Ravens game in Baltimore. I live 40 minutes from the stadium and we’ll have a blast!! 🇺🇸🇬🇧
Your video at the Saints/Vikings game last year is what got me into the NFL/American football
Thogdad is hilarious doing American sports impressions 😂😂😂
As a New Yorker that tunes in every week this is so hilariously weird, they’re reporting football i don’t know if you get it 😭
To seeing them report a local sport it’s sort of weird but it’s super cool
As not only a Baltimore Ravens fan but a person born & raised in Baltimore, MD I’m glad ya’ll enjoyed it the game. Hopefully one day you’ll get to try a authentic Maryland Crab Cake as well.
I hope to see more of the world involved in NFL! Cheers from Houston

One word awesome. My Dad watches American football, thank you for the video X ❤
Imagine calling a sport football but mostly playing the game with your hands 😂
Rugby is played with hands and its offical name is Rugby Football since its a variation of football that was played in Rugby. Gridiron football is a variaition of Rugby football. So is Gaelic football and Aussie football.
You run with your feet 😂
Imagine not doing any research and knowing history😂
It seriously seems like you go to every NFL London game except for the Jaguars ones
LETS GO! Waiting for this video from you, and the Ravens are my favorite club
“it’s more about the music” 😂😂😂
The NFL is crazy good. It’s fun and entertaining. Anyone who doesn’t like it hasn’t watched the sport.
Exactly and the atmosphere is underrated too 👍
First time?
You went last year Theo.
Great video so refreshing 💯
You went to a game last year. The Vikings and the Saints so it wasn`t your first game guys !!!
This might be an unpopular opinion here, but football/soccer is like checkers and American football is chess. Both are great games but American football is way more complex (as far as the rules) and the players have very specific roles like chess pieces.
Soccer is the most boring sport there is.
I do understand your analogy, but I wouldn't use the word "complex". Both are 2 very tactical sports, but the main difference in my opinion is the fact that Gridiron football is played in moves(1st down, 2nd down, 3rd down, etc.) and thus can seem more like a chess match, while Association football is more chaotic in its nature(there are no stops that reset the play, but rather a bunch of random events that unfold at the same time). This means that Gridiron football players have to perfect their routes/plays(Think of somebody like TB12) while Association football players have to be incredible good at making stuff up in mere seconds(Think of somebody like Messi)
Soccer is very tactical.

playing the American national anthem in other people's homeland 😂😂 is one of the best feelings as an American citizen especially over in Britain seeing how that song was created because of them it's the ultimate rubbing salt into the wound song especially over there
This was really cool and awesome to see our fellow brothers across the pound to get the chance to watch the NFL in their home country! Hopefully one day we can get a Premier League or European match here in the USA to help grow the sport!

If you want to go to a game with good atmosphere, you should go to a college american football game.
Mate we watch real football, no atmosphere comes close 😂 and yes i have watched college football, since they broadcast it live on dutch television for some reason in the middle of the night😂
@@wt0403there’s a difference being there rather than watching it 💀. Just look up Michigan state vs penn state white out or Tennessee vs Alabama 2022 and you will understand. I’ve been to both premier leage games and college football games and I promise you college football has a far better atmosphere. I understand you are proud of your heritage and your football has great scenes but nothing is like a college football games. No disrespect
@@wt0403 Yeah, the atmosphere of a College Football game doesn't really transfer through on the TV. It's way more impressive in person. There's so much more that goes into a college football game then what you see on TV.
@@loganleroy8622 yeah ok buddy, bunch of drunk kids dancing. How nice. Thogden says it perfectly in this video, yall need to be entertained, we are the entertainment
@@wt0403 Who is your "we"? Surely you don't mean the players on the field. They rarely provide entertainment. The majority of the game itself is goal kicks, throw ins, back passes, and laying on the ground.
Why do you think the fans in European Football sing all the time? It's because they are trying to entertain themselves while they wait for something to happen.
As a fellow Bolton Fan and also a Tampa Bay Buccaneer, glad you went to see it and enjoy. Its an amazing sport and very chess like. There are so many twists and turns and for the price of the game and the whole experience, its a bargain. Also once you get the basics of the game you'll enjoy it more.

Good stuff. Nice to see the perspective.
Funny how when most of the world makes fun of "American Football," the second they go to the game they understand why we love it. It may not look like much at first, but there's something electric about watching so many disparate forms of athletic achievement and prowess all taking stage at once to compete. The brutality of the trenches, the ballet of a perfect pass, the trick plays, the human element, it's all so... magical.
Is that David Beckham? … 💀
What
Bro, there are definitely limbs in American Football. The atmosphere in the Cleveland Browns game today was off the charts 👍
Cringe ass songs tho
Yo bro, loved that you loved our game. Football is awesome and can illicit drastic emotions.
Basically its 11 v 11 collision chess… where the objective is to gain yards, keep moving the chains, and obviously score with kicks or do it yourself by getting 6.
Its a very tactical game… many strategies can be involved and the coaching staff can have 15-20 members plus assistants.
Keep in mind in the pro game, the active roster has 53 players, there are 3 phases of football, Offense, defense, and Special teams.
All units need to perform as 1 to get W’s in the league… as you can tell every pro NFL game is a bloodbath of physicality and big highlights…
Most importantly to know about football, momentum swings are EVERYTHING. You’ll see more blowouts in high school and college(amateur ball) because kids cant handle the pressure of huge momentum changes…
Pro’s are used to it. There is always pressure to perform. Unfortunately this game is dependent on young talent and an average career is less than 3 years.
Its a very difficult but rewarding sport. Learn more about it, football is king in America.
All the teams in the NFL are chasing the grand prize, the big stage, super sunday.
Enjoy the NFL regular season, its a 17 game 18 week gauntlet. And then the postseason is a mad dash of heartbreak to get to the Super Bowl…
The Lombardi is our biggest prize in the game. Only 57 Lombardi’s have been crowned… everyone is chasing to get to the mountain top.
I understand the Premier League and its table system.. 3 points for W’s, 1 for draws and L’s are none… thats like marathon…
An NFL season is about finding whose got the top tier talent, it changes every year but this sport is not immune from dynasties. The real shit goes down in the postseason, playoffs. If you lucky enough to be one of the top 14 clubs in the NFL. Then, single elimination playoff games. EVERYTHING ON THE LINE.
Have you seen a Super Bowl man??? Its our biggest game in the sport, the grand stage. We had a damn iconic one just this year… Kansas City is so close to solidifying their 2020’s dynasty.
This game of American football is awesome. Give a chance and come out State side to catch ball games… its so intense every weekend.
“How do they come out without injuries” cries in Ravens fan 😂😂😂
Baltimore native here. Love this. You guys did great!
Being a Spurs fan, I don't like this 😂
I don't understand American football I do prefer British football 😊😊😊
American Football is somewhat complicated, but it's popular for a reason.
We grow up with this game in high school and college. It's very social for us, usually a big dance after the game. At Homecoming game a king and queen are chosen by popular votes, a school coronation, crowns, etc. My granddaughter plays soccer in college, I watch to support her. Football takes years to learn the game especially for women who have never played the game. The Ravens didn't get much 🌞 sun this week, I live in California sunny all year😎🌴. Peace to you🙏💜.
Thank you for giving our sport a chance. It’s definitely very different but you’ll get used to it!
