- This Space Saving Life Hack is one I use every time we move or store away some stuff long-term. If you have a lot of plush items like pillows, blankets, stuffed animals, and winter clothes, then this is a great hack to have in your arsenal. This is also an easy way to get cushions back into casings after upholstering work or cleaning.

There are also Roll up space saver bags but they are also expensive. This method is great for Moving or saving room in your closet. You could use it for camping but you won't have a vacuum to compress them again when you're out camping.

Ziploc awesome makes space bags for organizing Camping bags or just your life, they are not cheap. This method is much cheaper and can help you save a trip to the store if you have garbage bags and saram Is wrap sitting around.

GENIUS! I have that same vacuum too lol. I used a 39 gallon bag along side some rubber bands. I'm going to grab the wrap now (luckily I have some handy)!
I love that vacuum! it's great for if you don't have a lot of carpet in the house, better than sweeping lol. This trick can be done with one person, two people makes it super easy though 😁👍

My wife and I had a baby a few months ago and have not gotten back into the swing of things with videos yet but I am planning on as soon as I can. I was thinking about remaking this video, it was one of the first ones I did and I could definitely do better. I've actually done the same thing with a memory foam mattress before and it worked great just got to find a big enough bag 😁👍

They sell commercial available versions of this made specifically for stuffing away stuffed animals and such it should be fine. 😁👍

Opening it isn't that big of a deal. Just unwrap the plastic and it slowly expands as you're doing that.

How do I get the bag flat ?
Mine always tend to be egg-shaped but if you press on it as it shrinks down you can shape it somewhat. What are you packing if you don't mind me asking?
How to stop ot from leaking?
Actually you don't have to, that's what the packing wrap is for, if you suck all the air out and then constrict it from reinflating, the air cannot get back into it.
It's obviously not waterproof this way but it's compressed for storage space.

I’m sure it weight more than if you were just to put it in the bag to storage it. It weight more but saves you space.
