Our Wedding Vows 🤵🏻👰🏻💓 Marrying my best friend [EMOTIONAL🥺🥺]

hi yall :) our wedding on 13 aug 2023 was undoubtedly the best day of our lives. on that day, we became one.
this video captures some shots of the hall and decorations that we tirelessly tried to curate - from the cute pre-wedding shots filmed in US (at our favourite places), to the gorgeous flowers in the prettiest colour palette.
as private people, we only had immediate family and the wedding party in attendance. it was a time that we wanted to focus on being present.
at 5.30pm, we laid bare our promises and hopes for each other and our lives ahead. this video will always serve as a reminder as to why i love and cherish him.
a little back story:
he is a jokester and procrastinator (it's true!).
and i'll admit i'm emotional and a planner.
but these vows really captured the complete opposite. in leading up to the big day, we didn't align on the length, tone, and style of the vows.
he crafted and typed his out in secret two weeks before, and apparently practiced for many nights (which even kept him up the night before!!! he was apparently tearing as he was practising hehe)
vs: i kept an iphone note months leading up the wedding, adding in a phrase/sentence every now and then when it came to me (even in my sleep!). the night before, i tried to string it together, and then prioritized sleep so i basically only really had time to form my vows up to 30min before the actual ceremony. my makeup artist had to keep reminding her to finish them!
the finished product was definitely love in the truest form. i believe that it was delivered by how we knew the other would like it. he knew i wanted sincerity, and delivered incredibly. while i know he appreciates a lighter mood and has a shorter attention span :P
we've kept this video to ourselves for a while now, but decided to share it with our friends and you guys.
i know i'll be watching this video 1000x, and whenever i need to find strength and be reminded of our deep connection. love you guys!!!
