I would like to congratulate & thank Damian on such a thorough informative and enthusiastic tour! Of course, as someone who was born and raised on South Beach from 1971 to 2003 I got to experience a bit of that history as a child and young adult so there’s a bittersweet element to it. I’m glad the tour focused on whatever positives are still remaining because I’m saddened by how many historic buildings (and in some cases even entire streets) from my childhood are no longer there thanks to the greed and shortsightedness of developers, contractors and politicians looking to make a quick buck instead of preserving the very things that make that area unique and a tourist attraction.
I went on Damian's "Art Deco, History & Crime Walking Tour" earlier this year. This tour reminded me of being in school, except this time I 100% wanted to listen lol. They don't make teachers like that. With obvious and earnest dedication to the subject he pointed out all the details and made Miami Beach come alive, and I left having felt like I got to know the area in a meaningful way. Beyond facades of dream-like buildings lives history, politics, ideals, mindsets, and conflict.

Damian hosts free-to-locals Art Deco & Hidden Gems Walking tour at the end of each month, and the last one was absolutely phenomenal - the passion, storytelling and in-depth insight is unlike any other guide in MB. It's an absolute shame that most people come to this wonderful historic city and treat it like a plastic cup. That's a clear indication that majority of the population are simply losers, with no intellectual drive, only ruled by physical cravings: vanity, alcohol, drugs, food, jet-skis. They make a mess over a long weekend, and leave. They will never understand the true beauty of Miami Beach, or what a hell they are looking at. That's why most implants don't last. When things get tough, their residence here ends up being short lived, and they fly out defeated.

Good video tour. You should do another of these videos with other local tour guides for not just Miami Beach but Wynwood, downtown and how about a city bus tour video in one of those double deckers because it really helps with tourism traffic aside

@@JoelFrancoVlogs actually I think you should. I have a lot of content I had to do edits on the phone since that's the only gear I used while I was in Argentina. And if you feel hesitant the best thing to do is just hop on one of those hop on hop offs and make the content obviously you're a content creator and they will benefit from your involvement and btw shout-out to Worldlando of the Buenos Aires area for his Grayline content that I recommend you watch but yes go for it!!
Hey, you should go to tropical park and document the new Christmas park called Christmas Wonderland Miami.
Maybe also pass by dorral and show Santa’s Enchanted Forest, their current progress, I would love to see you fly over tropical park, at the new Christmas places down there
