Hey I’m going to York. Still in middle school tho. Already finished 7th grade now I have year to finish 8th and I’ll be at York. Can’t wait for high school!
I graduated in 1973. I don't recognize a damn thing except for the court yard in the middle, which was open and uncovered in those days. I could tell some stories, like the male gym teachers going out with cheerleaders and driving them to school in their own personal cars. (wink, wink) That went on for years, everybody knew about it, but the admin did NOTHING. They actually did fire one teacher after he married his student girl friend she graduated in '74. All of a sudden it became "too weird"?
Lockbar, don't feel too bad I graduated in 1997 and I have been in the new York to teach and take training seminars and I could get lost walking in a straight line. Secondly back in my day I could get anywhere I needed to be just inside or just over 2 minutes. The spirit of being a York Dukes lives in all of us it just not the building I knew. What matters though is the people; I'm certain that anyone would agree. If its one thing that no one can take away from us it is that we are the Dukes of York.
wow your high school looks like a college. i lived in a small town so we didnt even have second story buildings lol
