Thank you for the video. My mother was several miles away and was not familiar with this type of thermostat in her deceased mothers house. This video confirmed how to work it. Thanks again!
I have almost the same thermostat. A weird thing is that the heat will not kick on at all unless the fan is in the ON position. The heat will not work on the AUTO fan setting. Have you ever heard of this issue? I put in a brand new filter so I know that's not the problem.
This is great because my RUUD analog thermostat looks similar & I could no longer read where COOL and where HEAT is due to wear and tear, and I was guessing. I'm assuming the heat is all the way to the right, like here.
I have a T8085 thermostat. It won’t turn off. Power went out and when it came back on, so the the unit but it was not on when the power went out. Timer hasn’t been set in years. Not even sure if it works. I don’t have any if the pins to set it. The switch is off but unit runs. Fans is set to auto and heat is off. How do I get it to turn off!
I appreciate the video. But I was looking for something that showed the inside of the thermostat if repair was needed. Like you know, how the thermostat works. It's pretty obvious on how to simply use one. Hahaha, unless you don't understand numbers.
My apartment thermostat looks alittle bit older than that one. It says Robert Shaw, do you have any videos that shows how to use that one?

Your name sounds so close to ...Lorena Bobbitt 🙄
I'm asking if you have to turn it up or down to make it colder bro that's why we searched for this
⚰️. ⬆️♨️. ⬇️❄️.
Did you ever get the answer?
the lower the temperature the cooler it is. that's why we say "cool down." you set it lower for a lower temp, so you turn it down. 😭

Yes , the fan has to turn to ON then the cool or hot air will kick on
