Most pros like you would be too stuck up or charge an arm and a leg for that masterclass. But you, like Liszt himself who gave lessons for free, are on the same page. I actually met Leslie Howard after a concert he played here in Maharashtra, India. He was so simple and kind that he even gave me some tips. These lectures should really deserve more attention because of the quality and the command and supremacy that Leslie Howard has over the piano and Liszt's piano music.
(btw Leslie Howard also has a World record of highest no. of recordings by an artist)

I got some lessons from Leslie a couple of years ago at Chetham's, Manchester. At the end of our last lesson, I asked for a evaluation of the copy of "Liebestraum No. 3" that I had in my possession. Leslie's so called casual play-through of this music was one of these moments when you feel that you can happily die afterwards. Such a wonderful experience that will last in my memory, thank you so much. You have an amazing ability to bring the music to life. Hope to see you next time I go to Chet's, which will not be this year either, from well-known reasons.

I had the luck to have a couple of lessons with Leslie and we were revising one beethoven sonata and the Valle dObermann by Liszt, and his ideas of what Liszt wanted to express in his music is like if you were talking with Liszt himself, first class pianist Mr Leslie Howard

I´m pretty sure LH would not be happy with my playing of these wonderful pieces. In the third Consolation I use both the original ending and an ending from a “Ewer” edition (I use Henle Urtext edition). In the second Consolation I play to bar 29 and then I skip to bar 30 of the first edition. I also like to hold the sustain pedal down from 41 to the end of bar 60 of the original version, with a long crescendo from pp to f from bar 43 to bar 60. I dońt think Liszt would have mined but I´m pretty sure LH would😏
