I would like to know how do you ensure that the seller(s) on Buyee Mercari website will pack the photocard(s) in a secure manner for shipping? (eg. with a toploader/cardboard) Do u tell them by leaving a comment on the website before purchasing it?
most sellers will write in the description how they pack! usually they pack with cardboard only but if they add toploaders they will write "shipped in a hard case" or something along those lines :)
customs/shipping fees will depend on the size, weight and value of the package so it varies! if your buyee package exceeds a certain value, you will be charged customs in canada with most of their shipping options unfortunately. I haven't tried the sea mail option so not sure if you'd still get hit with customs that way, but when using EMS or any courier like FedEx, UPS, Purolator or DHL, I have always been hit with customs. I hope this helps!
