This song is one of the reasons i got into bass just love the way Steve Harris plays, I was in awe 1 yr later and stiil cant do finger style hardest thing ive had to do in my life besides bring up 6 children lol.
been coming back to this video off and on for like three years. i still have to switch to picking for that outro at 4:03...just too damn hard coming back to that after the previous 4 mins lolol
ive done it with my fingers, it feels very rewarding to play this on bass with fingers, wish they would put more songs like from somewhere in time or from iron maiden, and killers.
+Matt Bowen Maybe for you but not for me. Granted, I haven't played this for a long time and maybe I'll be able to keep up now but I'm honestly not sure.
+Aludog sorry about the negativity. I find it very hard to play anything spanning multiple strings with a pick. I practiced the hell out of this song and have it down pretty solid

its possible with the fingers.. just takes a lot of practice. and some nail lengnth
Frank Hensley Nah dude, you dont need nails, i do this without a pick all the time
This is super easy with fingers. If you have a P bass play on top of the pickup. The strings should bounce off of the fretboard
My dad somehow got 101.5% on this?!? Idk how he got past 100
I made 106.5% :D You have do 'quests' game gives you. 'Practice this section' or 'do this lesson' etc.
Did you pick this with a pick or with your fingers?
GrimOxford FINGERS FOREVER!
Always a pick. I can't play that fast with my fingers. :D
+Aludog I play Iron maiden - the trooper with my fingers, my whole arm becomes numb every time
Are you kidding?? This is super easy with fingers!
