Whisky .com tastes the Jura Superstition. This Jura is mixing half and half not smoky and smoky Jura Malt. It remains a Single Malt Whisky because the whole Whiskies comes from the Jura Distillery.

Almost choked on my tea at 3:54 when he chuckles at what he’s reading. God love you, Horst, because I sure do😂

Sir Horst, what alternatives will you recommend that exhibits a similar flavour profile to Jura Superstition? slight peat, briny, sweet..

Interesting thing that you didn't find any bandaid, iodine medical smells. I have tried and owned a many scotches, I love my peated Laphroaig and Ardbeg but this is the first time that I've explicitly experienced that medicine bandaid smell that's mentioned so often. But it was there only on the first third of the bottle than later completely disappeared. Bandaid, iodine, like you've just entered in the hospital, very, very explicit smell... And also powder milk, condensated milk! But no smoke whatsoever. Very strange and intriguing smells but as bottle went to the 2/3 it all went away. Still left me with some great spicy and full bodyed single malt for the rest of it.

I agree. This is one of the only whiskies I've had that really smells like bandaids and dehydrated milk. The smell diminishes quite quickly as it breathes but is very unpleasant for me at first. I'll be reviewing Jura over on my channel soon if you want to check it out!

Malt Mondays I will check it out 👍For me it's kind of pleasantly/unpleasant smell if that makes sense :) Jura 10yo has also that milk powder smell so there's some connection there but it has some weird smell that smells like BABIES 😁 Just without diapers smell, lol

Personally I would just skip all the NAS Juras and go straight to the 16. It's great.

Swill it like mouthwash and turn so many people off as you do. It's called "mute"
