We're so blessed to have you Tom. Thank you for everything you've done for all of us 🙏🏼
G Force are doing a fantastic job with their products, as always.
Tom is such a lovely chap. I could listen to his stories for hours. Tom and the late great Dave Smith have given us pure magic. It was amazing to see them working together to bring the OB-X8 to life. I bought one recently and it sounds beautiful. Tom, you are a genius and thank you.
Thank you all so very much for sharing this. Tom is a world treasure.
What a legend
Such an eloquent man. The passion and kindness just radiates off him.
Absolute legend. Thank you Tom!!
Tom, you are my engineering hero! Such a legend 💙
synths have come a long long way, its amazing that you guys document it with software and documentary
Thank you, GForce! - meticulously keeping the sound of interesting, legendary -- and in this case, rare -- synths alive for us all to enjoy really is a gift. To also share the often amazing and entertaining history behind them with us - that's quite a bow on top. Truly thank you (and thank you to Tom and team!)
Still have my OB-1, and still love it!
A story to tell
Thanks for this. These syntHiStories are fun & interesting, keep 'em coming!
Thanks for capturing these stories, great stuff.
A friend of me have this Ob1.
My hat off to you sir with respect. And thanks to the Gforce team for bringing this beauty to us. 🎹
i love the pitch bend looks like a cross between an old car door handle and a toilet flusher handle lol
if it wasn't for the brilliant minds of Moog, Oberheim, Smith and several others, the music we've enjoyed for the last half century simply wouldn't exist
0:17 _"We can't afford to do it with a micro"_ - What processors could then be used for this purpose and how much did they cost?
Please make a VST version of the Matrix 12
Make a new re-issue Tom, you will sell them by the bucketloads, wonderful synth indeed. And if you make a polyphonic version of it you will become the GOD of GODS
