Oh man, thanks so much for this video! GospelGuy was able to explain the Kronos system better than the DVD I bought from a Kronos "specialist" and in only 1 hour! We need more of this stuff! :D
Awesome! Randy is my favourite keyboard player, such a talented guy, has amazing chord knowledge and he is very creative with his sounds, thanks for the videos wheatworkspro love watching the ones with Randy on :)
Amazing video as always,Randy has a very creative mind when it comes to sounds. Ready to see what kind of synth y or shall I say Mike Bereal'S famous sound he can come ip with!! God bless you man!
When will part#3 be uploaded? Randy Jenkins has changed my approach to maximizing all my old and new equipment (keyboards/racks) including my soft synths and various DAWs on my MacBook Pro. Simplicity and Empowerment at it's best!
Excellent video - thanks!) I have Yamaha Motif XS7 - and decided to buy KOrg KronosX. But I can't get used to its sound in any way. If "not to wind" a sound - and to use "initial"... The grand piano in Motif sounds "volume" "Envelops". At Kronos a sound some strange. When I press a chord and I don't release (Yamaha Motif XS) - he "turns - lives". When I press a chord Kronos (and I don't release) - I receive some "the flat dead" a sound. When I play "with emotions" from the most silent - to the loudest sound - MOTIF "answers me". I feel his "articulation". If I play very silently and sharply I start playing loudly - Motif "blows up" and answers me with dynamics of "timbre" of a sound. When I play it on KronosX - from more "monotonous to my emotions". "Ambient" of a grand piano from MOTIF is pleasant to me much more. In it "life". When I write arrangements - the grand piano from MOTIF "is read" much better. And the grand piano from KRONOS - it though from "a realistic sound" - but "is read" in a mix - worse. It some "hard of hearing" and "not accurate". I write about a situation - when "many" tools in arrangement. Violins in KRONOS - some "whistling" on the top notes. - when I play Motif on "the top notes" - the sound which is "not whistling" - it "soft". But in violin KRONOS on "the top notes" create some "whistle" and "cuts on ears". On it is when I mix violins with a grand piano on Korg Kronos - difficult to play on high notes - violins very roughly sound (at high frequencies). But when I mix a grand piano with violins in Motif - everything sounds softly and "nobly". Here that pleases me in Kronos is PAD and Epiano! These sounds - EXCELLENT!
This was awesome. I went out and bought the Kronos 2 after watching the first video. Can you send me the settings for the new sounds created? I got a little lost in trying to follow some of the settings. Or, I can pay for the actual sounds if you can send them to me. Just let me know the cost. Would love to have the sounds to play when I'm at church. THANKS!!!
My after touch setting in the global basic window somehow hot set to 8 and was distorting the modulation level Randy sets at 15:13. I reset it to 3. Problem gone!
This is very inspiring and motivating!!!Does any one here knows a good RUclips channel for programming on the Roland fantom g? or is there any way you guys can make a video on that?
+DavidisTonik krome is a good board but i wouldnt buy it unless it was the 88key version the 61 and 73 key versions have alot of issues...check out some of the reviews on youtube

Would you recommend the Korg Krome as on option, where the budget is tight? I don't see a lo t of gospel cats messing with that
