A lot of work doesn't mean people want to watch it. He talks too fast, is too goofy. It's also not a great idea to be showing a talking face insead of the knife you're reviewing about 70% of the time.
To anyone looking to mod this knife, you should use thrust washers, or hardened steel washers; Even titanium and steel can be dented and grooved by the bearings, this damages the smoothness and ruins the tolerances of the knife. Hardened steel is harder than most titanium and definitely harder than aluminum and g10.

I've loved, and owned, Kershaw knives since I was a kid, and my Lucha is no exception. I own many Kershaw knives, and the same high quality is present in every one. Dollar-for-dollar, I believe Kershaw knives are as good as any made.

The video looks so Professional. This channel is so underrated I ordered my first balisong (trainer) yesterday I have been wanting one for so long since I first saw it when I told some ppl about wanting it they gave me “looks” lmao but idc
Another great alternative at around 100 bucks would be the Maxace serpent striker at around 120 bucks for the g10 version. And the carbon fiber version at around 220 is also a great flipper.
Picked one of these up for my first "real" balisong a few months ago when it came out, and then picked up a Maxace Banshee 3. Made up a set of titanium scales and spacers for the Banshee, and the Lucha is next. I think a set of titanium slabs will balance the weight out pretty nicely. It made a hell of a difference on the Banshee, But man is it a pain in the ass to work if you dont have a mill.

The average priceof flytanium scales, coupled with the fact that theres none available for the Banshee or the Lucha, inspired me to just make them myself lol. Now if I could only get better at flipping the things... Kinda hard to teach 40 year old hands new tricks I guess. I've had the double rollout down since I was probably 13 lol. Didn't know there was anything else you could do till recently. only other trick I've been working on, and can ALMOST pull off, is the combo you showed at the end of your hillarious faux snuff video. I really hope you put out more tutorial videos. You put it out there in a way that's easy for me to understand, and one thing that's unique to your videos, is the smoothness of the blade in motion while in slow motion. there are a lot of talented flippers putting out videos, but not one yet that I've seen , can pull off tricks in slow-mo and not have parts of the knife jiggle, shake, show bounceback, that kind of stuff. It just shows the amount of control you have over the blade in your hand.
It certainly is a unique flipper. It's far better than a BRS Barebones, IMO. I sold my Lucha in 9.5/10 condition, but I still liked it. I never grabbed the flyti handles, simply b/c I didn't like the look and was afraid the weight change would give it more of a blade bias. And yes, that latch is annoying as hell. I cut myself by being distracted from the constant flapping of that latch, like it had a mind of it's own. This took about 30 secs in for her to kiss me. Latch gone, smooth sailing. It's a landmark that will soon be a grail for Kershaw, as it's their first bali under the actual Kershaw brand. Plus, let's be honest, that is one shmexy, aggressive blade profile for a production run. They have made a stamp in the bali book of butterfly history. BTW, still dig the shirt. I'm so excited yesterday I bought my very first balisong knife I bought a Kershaw Luca in blackwash finish from knifecenter it costed me about 150 bucks with tax I can't wait for it to get here. I'm already thinking about mods and so far the titanium scales look the coolest

Some companies let ya keep the product, some don't as I'm sure ya know. I've noticed it's best to keep it professional and state only facts and nothing misleading. Companies talk to eachother and you'll find yourself getting approved more often. Oh and legit having a website and custom email boosts your chances. For instance mine is name@gpuabuse.com
