I remember those days. It was still there in 2009 and 2010 because I went there a few times. In 2010, Gregory Isaacs performed there and I got to see him. I think it shut down around 2011.
Club Zanzibar used to fuckin be LIT 🔥
I live in Puerto Rico and weather here is HOT and it performs well, easy 7 to 8 hrs.

I received my bottle last week....it reminds me of JPG Le Beau Le Parfum in the opening. The dry down reminds me of Shay and Blue Salted Caramel

There was also a nightclub in Newark, NJ (Brick City) called Zanzibar shout out to all the club/house heads. I copped this because I liked Asad and I'm not disappointed. Definitely a good blind buy IMO

Zanzibar to me is a mix between Dior homme intense and ultra male JPG and just add a bit of creamy faint coconut milk. On clothes it last till you wash!

That's how I feel when I wear my oud based fragrances, I've heard quite a few people mention they have headaches around me 😂 but I honestly don't care. I shouldn't have to restrict myself when I want to wear something in particular.

@@Ihavenoideawhatthisevenis i thought it was gonna be a banger of a light fresh island vibes scent that knocked it out the park like asad did for sauvage elixir…so i ordered 2 before there were any real reviews and ratings.. the way the notes cone together and the feel of it on my skin doesnt do it for me personally..little heavier then i like and that roasted toasted aspect to it is kind of off putting to me. but scents are subjective. i shoulda waited and definitely shouldve just got one just in case. its not like i would even run thru it in a year. i own way too many fragrances as it is.

I've noticed I only really like it, in the high high heat. Other times, I just don't enjoy it what so ever.
Even though this is a summer style fragrance, maybe you could try yours in the colder months? See if your opinion changes at all. Or maybe something will change with time. But who knows honestly. Lol.
I have quite a few Fragrances, not as many as some others, but definitely a decent amount. I've cut back a lot on what I'm buying. I'm honestly only trying to purchase something I really want, over caving when there's a really good deal. I've done that way too many times as is. I've given away so many Fragrances due to being disappointed in my blind buys.

Great smell. Great performance. Think it has a bit more versatility than just being a summer scent but we’ll see when the time arrives. Overall great smelling fragrance.
I just ordered it a bit ago. The majority of what I own is suited more for winter and I need more warm weather joints. Glad to hear it performs well so far; I keep coming across so many nice-sounding Springs/Summer fragrances but then I decide to pass them up when I see that they only last a handful of hours.

It reminds me of a mixture of azzaro chrome pure with JPG le beau edt with some iris mixed in. Honestly don't need JPG le beau edt if you could get this in fact i highly recommend this over le beau.

It's good, not great. It's definitely a good summer frag. Sweet, tropical, no one will hate it, but it's not a game changer. 7.8/10. For the price and intended purpose it's worth the buy.
On me its strong as hell +12hr and cuba its a unique scent made with colab senior parfumer fanny bell its may ressemble but its not directing anyone
Ok it's Le Beau Le Parfum Jean Paul Gaultier blended with Xerjoff 40 knots 👍🏾 it's a nightclub on the beach and sand ⛱️ like Zanzibar is in Africa and you see the fire 🔥🔥 going at night to dance around

I just got this one in after almost 2 weeks of waiting and I was definitely disappointed. Smells good I guess but the hype was not accurate to the smell. I blind bought this one paid $50 so it’s alll good but I wouldn’t pay $30 for it.
Mine performs in the 10-12 hrs. Which is crazy or at least from what I can smell for now.

The answer to the question is no it’s not worth the hype.. I know many do not know what Cuba Gold smells like because it’s a $10 fragrance, but sadly Zanzibar smells identical to that,just with coconut and vanilla instead of just vanilla. What a letdown.😞

100% wrong about the only summer time wear, if anything it’s not a summer frag even tho it sorta smells like the halls of a resort. As for the funky incense Cuba gave reference to, that’s also 100% it’s a weird cumin incense that I find interesting but some will surely be put off with.
