I’m a bit sceptical of affirmations, but I’m going through a stressful time so I thought I’d try it, and I found this one amazing. It’s quite a revelation to be able to say things are going well when they aren’t, it gave my brain a sort of feel-good buzz of relief, and for a while I actually really felt less stressed and more positive 😊 Maria knows best.

I used to use ASMR years ago to relax. I am currently under hospice care for metastatic cancer and am taking chemo. Sometimes, like tonight, I wake up feeling anxious/crying. I stumbled across your video and remembered how much ASMR helped me in the past. This video did the trick. 11:15 I feel so much more relaxed. I especially liked the leather tapping and beaded fabric. I, also, liked when you spoke directly to us about being yourself on camera. I love flowers, too. I am waiting for it to warm up so I can start planting. Thank you for this lovely video. I have subscribed.

I just want to say that the videos you make when you're just connecting as yourself and not playing a role have always been the most comforting to me. I still remember you sitting and coloring and giving updates about your journey years ago and if I had saved it I would rewatch it over and over. You're such a comfort to many of us.

Over the years i have watched so so so many asmrtists and a large portion of them cite Gentle Whispering as their favourite, or first, or even reason they started making ASMR in the first place, and after finally watching a video by her, i can totally understand why, that was such pure, cosy, caring and tingly experience.
