I'm sorry you're sad. What sometimes helps me when I'm sad is thinking that if we didn't sometimes feel sadness, we'd have nothing to measure happiness against. Oddly enough, playing the saddest music I can find helps pull me out of it faster than anything cheerful would. Wish I could make you feel better. Your videos always help me.

I know exactly what you mean about the sadness nibbling at your toes even when you have joy as well. I find it best to accept the feeling instead of trying to fight it or ask why it’s there. It has to be soft so that it can move through on its own.

I have just realized her accent is almost gone😅 I have been listening for a decade and her accent in the beginning was much more noticeable. It's super interesting to me. Please don't let the fear of an accent stop you from learning something you enjoy ❤ most people are flattered you're communicating in their native language making an effort.
As someone living in Korea and on year 7 of language learning struggle-bus, it really really does help to be living in the environment where it is used. My Korean accent was garbage before I moved here (I studied a little beforehand). But now I can copy sounds insanely well. Also, being married to a local helps insane amounts as well. My husband is Korean. His English has improved simply by being around me too. You have a model of proper pronunciation with you every day in your own home. So Maria living in the US & being married to an American really helps. Not to discredit her obvious hard work! Shes the most fluent non-native speaker I've ever seen. I also think she has a special skill for language as well. Like a talent for it. She absolutely fooled me at first. I was like huh, she's Russian?! Lol. And her Spanish accent in this video is awesome. I know its not easy to just pick up and move to japan or whatever but just wanted to add my experience ❤ Your brain is amazing at adapating when in specific environments!

Ive been dealing with schizophrenia and psychosis for years now, and asmr really helps me feel safe while i try to fall asleep. Maria is genuinely my favorite asmrtist, her voice makes me feel so comforted and the gentle tone calms down my entire body. Even on medication i still hear voices while i try to sleep and having something on in the background helps a lot. When i feel troubled i usually turn on one of Maria's videos in the background and relax while i nap or draw. Ive memorized so many of Maria's videos that whenever im in the mental hospital i can imagine listening to her videos while i sleep under the hospital AC. These videos have helped me so much and i hope you know how many people you've helped out there Maria. I hope you continue to live your life with so much happiness❤

3:55 I think we have an innate sadness about the temporary nature of it all, which seems to surface most when things are good. A biological reminder to not take it for granted. Unfortunately, media has been tinkering with this feeling and has convinced us it means something's missing. It's a driver of workaholism and materialism. We've been tricked into thinking we need to be more productive, or need something new. Really we just need to appreciate what we have extra hard.
I won’t say I hope your sadness goes away because I know some kinds never do, and I don’t know what kind you’re facing. But I hope your sadness feels less heavy with every day. Sometimes, to feel better about things that make me sad instead of ignoring them I add a little piece of them into happy moments so they’re less sad. Especially if I add them to things that help me grow. I incorporate many pieces of my dads life all throughout mine so my grief for him feels less heavy and more uplifting. Cooking certain foods used to make me sad because they were tied to bad memories. So I decided to become an expert in those dishes and instead make them all the time for people I love! It made it happy instead. I hope whatever sadness is sticking with you can be transformed into warmth and comfort and growth, because I know you are wonderful and capable of doing that. ❤️

I very rarely comment on anything, but I have to say, Your videos have always been my favorite. ASMR nowadays is all about different fidget toys and, none of them really focus on the personal affects of ASMR. You always have though. You have this way of connecting with people even though its through a camera. I have always loved and appreciated you.

I'm sorry you're sad. What sometimes helps me when I'm sad is thinking that if we didn't sometimes feel sadness, we'd have nothing to measure happiness against. Oddly enough, playing the saddest music I can find helps pull me out of it faster than anything cheerful would. Wish I could make you feel better. Your videos always help me.

I know exactly what you mean about the sadness nibbling at your toes even when you have joy as well. I find it best to accept the feeling instead of trying to fight it or ask why it’s there. It has to be soft so that it can move through on its own.

I have just realized her accent is almost gone😅 I have been listening for a decade and her accent in the beginning was much more noticeable. It's super interesting to me. Please don't let the fear of an accent stop you from learning something you enjoy ❤ most people are flattered you're communicating in their native language making an effort.

As someone living in Korea and on year 7 of language learning struggle-bus, it really really does help to be living in the environment where it is used. My Korean accent was garbage before I moved here (I studied a little beforehand). But now I can copy sounds insanely well. Also, being married to a local helps insane amounts as well. My husband is Korean. His English has improved simply by being around me too. You have a model of proper pronunciation with you every day in your own home. So Maria living in the US & being married to an American really helps. Not to discredit her obvious hard work! Shes the most fluent non-native speaker I've ever seen. I also think she has a special skill for language as well. Like a talent for it. She absolutely fooled me at first. I was like huh, she's Russian?! Lol. And her Spanish accent in this video is awesome. I know its not easy to just pick up and move to japan or whatever but just wanted to add my experience ❤ Your brain is amazing at adapating when in specific environments!

Ive been dealing with schizophrenia and psychosis for years now, and asmr really helps me feel safe while i try to fall asleep. Maria is genuinely my favorite asmrtist, her voice makes me feel so comforted and the gentle tone calms down my entire body. Even on medication i still hear voices while i try to sleep and having something on in the background helps a lot. When i feel troubled i usually turn on one of Maria's videos in the background and relax while i nap or draw. Ive memorized so many of Maria's videos that whenever im in the mental hospital i can imagine listening to her videos while i sleep under the hospital AC. These videos have helped me so much and i hope you know how many people you've helped out there Maria. I hope you continue to live your life with so much happiness❤

3:55 I think we have an innate sadness about the temporary nature of it all, which seems to surface most when things are good. A biological reminder to not take it for granted. Unfortunately, media has been tinkering with this feeling and has convinced us it means something's missing. It's a driver of workaholism and materialism. We've been tricked into thinking we need to be more productive, or need something new. Really we just need to appreciate what we have extra hard.

I won’t say I hope your sadness goes away because I know some kinds never do, and I don’t know what kind you’re facing. But I hope your sadness feels less heavy with every day. Sometimes, to feel better about things that make me sad instead of ignoring them I add a little piece of them into happy moments so they’re less sad. Especially if I add them to things that help me grow. I incorporate many pieces of my dads life all throughout mine so my grief for him feels less heavy and more uplifting. Cooking certain foods used to make me sad because they were tied to bad memories. So I decided to become an expert in those dishes and instead make them all the time for people I love! It made it happy instead. I hope whatever sadness is sticking with you can be transformed into warmth and comfort and growth, because I know you are wonderful and capable of doing that. ❤️
