In light of the ongoing global economic crisis, it is crucial for everyone to prioritize investing in diverse sources of income that are not reliant on the government. This includes exploring opportunities in stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the challenging economic situation, it remains a favorable time to consider these investments.
The pathway to substantial returns doesn't solely rely on stocks with significant movements. Instead, it revolves around effectively managing risk relative to reward. By appropriately sizing your positions and capitalizing on your advantage repeatedly, you can progressively work towards achieving your financial goals. This principle applies across various investment approaches, whether it be long-term investing or day trading.
Despite utilizing the correct strategies and possessing the right assets, there can still be variations in the investment returns among different investors. I would advise anyone to watch the SRF and arte documentaries about this before concluding in any way, it‘s not that simple. But there were great individuals who took tremendous risk to help Jewish people like Paul Grüninger. The federal council knew what Germany was doing from 1942 onwards - they still decided to refuse more Jewish refugees and constructed an economic narrative around the topic to justify their announcement. One of the Federal Councils - Marcel Pilet-Golaz - seemed to be very open to rearrange his views with those of our fascist neighbours in Italy and Germany. I recommend Martin Bucher‘s publication about the RDJ in Switzerland, it is accessible online (Uni ZH). The Reichsdeutsche Jugend rented the Hallenstadion in Zurich, banners with Swastikas were all over the building and the Reichsadler welcomed the German diaspora of Switzerland. 10'000 NSDAP members celebrated thanksgiving (in the European sense). Switzerland is a very good example of the application of the Pareto law. You have commendable things like Swiss people excelling at stability, financial prudence, entrepreneurship accounting for 80% of the effort, but 20% of the result. Then you have things like war economy and dubious foreign gold, art and currencies import in WW2 while collection of worldwide money laundry is much relevant still today, and these account for like the remaining 80% of the success...
@@wmkwm-y4c well, very easy actually: tax evasion was not invented overnight in Europe, it gradually started during the 19th century, together with the adoption of modern tax systems throughout Europe. Switzerland was already then granting bank secrecy, which was finally made mandatory by law in 1934, thus ensuring large capital influxes boosting the internal investments, i.e. that other 80% of the effort.
@mm4082-q2y you cant say it's 80%. In 1995 the banking was less than 10% of swiss economy.an economic boom happened in the 2000. It's mostly thanks to immigration. Not banking

Switzerland's GDP per capita, like that of Luxemburg, tends to get overstated because it has a lot of commuters coming in from abroad, increasing the "product" in GDP per capita without increasing the "capita".
@ccii-ch6gf well I strongly doubt that. But it also employs a bunch of tricks similar to those of Ireland, pulling in capital from around the world claiming the proceeds from it as its host by offering a "hospitable" tax climate. To think any of that GDP is cuckoo clock makers being productive is farcical.
@ccii-ch6gf I'd say it's about 20% of its true productive output, though if you go by all the fictive numbers from blood money and skimming off foreign fund inflows you'll end up lower. Its hard to have serious conversation about it with so many nonsense figures being spewn.
fun fact the ai wont tell you: austria is in a sense swiss. they were founded by the habsburg dynasty, the castle of habsburg, where that line is from, is in modern day aargau, switzerland. so in a sense the habsburgs (our biggest historical enemy) were themselves swiss, since their home territory now belongs to switzerland and has been considered helvetic/räthian territory before that. from their name it would also make sense, "österreich" means "eastern realm", its not really east of germany, a bit yes, but mostly its south of germany. but austria is exactly east of switzerland. and why would natives call themselves the eastern ones? wouldnt it make sense if the ones giving the region the name came from the west? like when a nobility acquires new lands? so in my mind the austrians are kind of a monarchist swiss colony. doesnt really matter just a funny thought.
@@dasprojekt2049 in 996 (first mention of austria) bohemia was the eastern most part of the hre not austria. with italy, austria is more of the middle part of the hre. again i think its in relation to switzerland/swabia. where the nobility of austria came from at the time.
Switzerland is home to one of the biggest mining and exploration company in the world: Glencore. So, the entire world is source of natural rerources for Switzerland.
Glencore and other companies lobby very hard against all efforts we take to legislate their human rights abuse and environmental destruction abroad. There are many organisations and members of parliament who are on this, the last 20 years brought promising changes and public pressure is mounting continuously. Multinationals are undermining the political and democratic processes everywhere. Sadly, we‘re not an exception.
We mustn't underestimate the fact that power - in the end - is held by the people. It's an excellent firewall to prevent politicians from doing anything stupid. Of course, the system has its flaws - not the least of them - but it works and can be perfected. Clearly - living here (if you can afford it) is a real opportunity. And culturally, sometimes, I find that the Swiss have more in common with the Japanese than any other European culture .
Swiss success has nothing to do with the blue banana. It is just less wasteful, less corrupt, less government waste but people work hard, long hours and politically right aligned. People enjoy much greater food choices and safety and quality housing leading to much better behaviour. Leads the world in longevity and cultural enjoyments.
This is just a fassade. Ignorant people whos brain has been brainwashed by the far right SVP party and who have never been abroad would argue like that.
There would be no textile industry if it were not invented somewhere in England and spread over Europe that way. And like the video correctly showed machine and chemical industry were born out of it. Great video! But Switzerland is actually an important AI player, respective to its size. It is the ninth country in the world in terms of AI startups per capita, and 0.43 AI papers per 1000 inhabitants vs 0.16 for the US...
Taxes in Switzerland are already high on citizens, the personal income tax is one of the highest in the OECD, not to metion that is one of the few countries with a Wealth tax. The "tax heaven" image of Switzerland can be only attibuted to its corporate tax, which is lower than the OECD average across the cantons. So low income taxes in general is not one of the reasons why they are rich.

Switzerland, so say it bluntly, is just the paradise for all the rich and the mighty. Here they can do and achieve whatever they want. There are no limits to their richness, to their might and to their power. And the state is under their full control. All the property of Switzerland belongs to the rich of from all over the world. Paradise on earth for them! They are the bosses of Switzerland. About the other side of Switzerland one would better not discuss. Because where there is paradise for the ones and the view, for all the others of the many there is dispair and hopelesness.
Please fix your title, it should be: "How did Switzerland become the most advanced economy". Remember it's "did + infinitive", did is already in its past tense, therefore it is wrong to use the second verb's simple past form. Alternatively you can use: "How Switzerland became the most advancecd economy".
We Swiss are victims of our own success story. Our strong currency causes us more and more difficulties to export. Soon we expect big layoffs in the manufacturing sector.
Wrong! Most Swiss manufacturing occurs outside of Switzerland. Swiss companies employ more than 15 million people abroad. The strong franc effect is largely attributed to the fact that Swiss subsidiaries worldwide are sending their profits back in foreign currency and then converting it to CHF.
do you know what does it mean to have a weak currency? Is means that you will be taxed with inflation all the time and when any shock will come your currency and economy will be completely dumped (including whole industries). Strong currency means that you have TRUST in the currency.
Being the crossroads of Europe, being neutral and sitting out all wars since Napoleon, being a country absolutely devoid of natural resources forcing them into trade and services from day one oh and of course, moral flexibility in all things.
Lets think about this. If I am a corrupt government official and steal one billion dollars from my country or drug dealer and made one billion dollar , I won't keep this amount of money in my country. 100% sure. So where the money will go? 100% sure not to Russia, China. May be one or two million dollars to Canada or Australia or USA but not that amount of money because there can be problem of money laundering. That amount of money will go to Switzerland or Luxembourg or England ( Guernsey Island banks or Cayman Island banks which are out of British jurisdiction ). That amount of money - where I can invest? Remember I must stay low profile and I'm not a businessman. I can buy 5 or 10 properties total 30 or 40 millions worth. After that what I can buy some vintage cars may be 20 millions worth. The rest will be in these banks forever. I can't and don't need to take my money out from the bank. These are the black money and not easy to make it white .Historically these illegal money were in these banks. I may die and the money will still be in the bank. No wonder Swiss, British, Luxembourgers are rich. Don't believe they are rich because of manufacturing or higher education level or something. They are rich with stolen and illegal money.
That doesn't make sense. How is it possible to steal or make 1 billion dollars from drugs? Why would Switzerland need those stolen monies when they can easily print it themselves?
Ways that a country can become rich in a short span of time: 1.Have giant reserves of oil and gas or some other high value and high demand resource with a small population 2. Be a tax haven/financial services hub with a small population 3. Get lots of grants from USA and other rich countries (like Israel) 4. Colonization If the above conditions are met, have a dictatorship.
rule of law isnt very strong here... its just that living here is quite good, besides working very hard and alot - which makes it so you dont have much spare energy to do criminal stuff. you dont need to, and you dont really want to do crime. maybe people do some small stuff none cares about.
Swissland is divided among 4 languages, it is a hard place to live and do business. Swissland is a landlocked country that has no access to the sea. Swissland has little population which makes it difficult to get prosperous and wealthy. Swissland relies on attracting wealthy foreigners because of its inability to make wealth.
@@LexMoy singapore hong kong and switzerland are small places... so yes there's a paywall over time, which sucks ofcourse. but you get to that point and wealth through free market and low taxes/regulations. then china grabs it.
Switzerland is not the most advanced economy. Remember where the most advanced computer chips are produced. If you are traveling Singapore, Japan and even China, you don't think Switzerland is very advanced in any aspect. But heck, who cares. We have the best chocolate and the most beautiful mountains.
How can Switzerland be nr 1 for innovation when it’s population is as conservative af? They are allergic to progress. Being open to progress however is needed to be innovative. They get that Rank because they probably choose 2-3 exemplary companies like Roche or Nestlé where they have a innovative work ethic and then project that image on the entire country….
@@ThomasJacobz You can’t be progressive in tech and finance if you are stuck in the 30s socially, one is not that much separable from the other. I don’t think that this education system is as good as you pretend, asking for a degree to clean toilets is not any sign of competitivness.
@@ThomasJacobz I live here and apart from the big cities the population is rather narrow minded and not nearly as educated as you’d think. Most people rarely travel abroad thus have a very small horizon, hell they don’t even travel to neighbouring states sometimes who they view already as foreign countries even though part of Switzerland as well.
For the average Swiss resident, it has become virtually impossible to ever own property. We may have high incomes, but most of that is spent on ludicruously high rents (2500 USD per month for a 100 square room apartment in regular cities, 4000 and up in Zurich and Geneva) are now the norm. Ot only makes landlords richer whilst keeping everyone else at net worth zero.
It seems like it is the time to shine for Switzerland. Every other country in Europe struggles because of politics (don't want to point a finger, but thanks Putler). But here once again (at least for economical reasons) it proves that it's best to stay neutral. But then again it's always easy to be a bystander while the big brothers have to sort everything out. So yeah, I'd rather live in a less hypocritical country to be honest...😮
Yes. Keeping taxes in check and allowing people to acquite wealth. More efficient allocation of capital. And here in the UK our new Labour government are about to take us in the opposite direction.

16:49 Reasons for Switzerland's economic success
Switzerland is a very good example of the application of the Pareto law.
You have commendable things like Swiss people excelling at stability, financial prudence, entrepreneurship accounting for 80% of the effort, but 20% of the result.
Then you have things like war economy and dubious foreign gold, art and currencies import in WW2 while collection of worldwide money laundry is much relevant still today, and these account for like the remaining 80% of the success...
Explain why it was the 2nd richest in Europe in 1913.
Not banking
The Gini index for wealth can be very misleading:
A house with a mortgage is regarded like debt and therefore less than owning nothing.
They are sophisticated bankers and have a very strict immigration policy. This keeps them rich.
oh please sh up... 40% foreigner in my country. fucking annoying. we are rich due to the reisläufer and then due to export from textiles. Then the bank later on...
@@LCTeslaWhy would Switzerland need foreign funds when they have so many banks in their country and an efficient tax collection system?
Is this video created using InVideo AI?
fun fact the ai wont tell you:
austria is in a sense swiss.
they were founded by the habsburg dynasty, the castle of habsburg, where that line is from, is in modern day aargau, switzerland.
so in a sense the habsburgs (our biggest historical enemy) were themselves swiss, since their home territory now belongs to switzerland and has been considered helvetic/räthian territory before that.
from their name it would also make sense, "österreich" means "eastern realm", its not really east of germany, a bit yes, but mostly its south of germany.
but austria is exactly east of switzerland.
and why would natives call themselves the eastern ones? wouldnt it make sense if the ones giving the region the name came from the west? like when a nobility acquires new lands?
so in my mind the austrians are kind of a monarchist swiss colony.
doesnt really matter just a funny thought.
Austria is still better 🇦🇹
@@BolnoyBratchny exactly what a monarchist colonist descendant would say.
The eastern realm was meant in relation to the hre which spread from northern italy to north germany
@@dasprojekt2049 in 996 (first mention of austria) bohemia was the eastern most part of the hre not austria.
with italy, austria is more of the middle part of the hre.
again i think its in relation to switzerland/swabia. where the nobility of austria came from at the time.

Yes...the rate of suicide seems very high in both countries.
Some of my Swiss friends would drive into Germany, France, Austria or Italy to buy large ticket items. So purchasing parity is not 100% of the story.
Why does it show Singapore instead of Switzerland at 17:16
Swiss success has nothing to do with the blue banana. It is just less wasteful, less corrupt, less government waste but people work hard, long hours and politically right aligned. People enjoy much greater food choices and safety and quality housing leading to much better behaviour. Leads the world in longevity and cultural enjoyments.

Have you been to Singapore?
Please fix your title, it should be: "How did Switzerland become the most advanced economy". Remember it's "did + infinitive", did is already in its past tense, therefore it is wrong to use the second verb's simple past form. Alternatively you can use: "How Switzerland became the most advancecd economy".

We Swiss are victims of our own success story. Our strong currency causes us more and more difficulties to export. Soon we expect big layoffs in the manufacturing sector.
🙈
Not really, because I have been hearing that for 20 years
that's a myth, Swizterland has experienced an increasing trade surplus as its currency has appreciated.

Wow iqua is finally on its feet
Just watched another video where they say one out of 10 is a milionair. Bth i know not one personally. Im not sure if that is really true.
