That MK2 Escort at 2.15... stunning. As a mechanic that served my apprenticeship working in a RS specialists during the mid-late 80's it brought back so many memories of the Cosworth and Escort RS , I couldnt afford one back then... and still cant !!

Those RS Cosworths are amazing. Wish these were more common here in Australia. I've seen 2 on the road in my life. The ones that are for sale here are expensive for what they are though.

A lesson I learned many years ago in my late teens with an E30 320i and E30 325i Sport .
I think that old cars make a lovely engine nose and they look great and lovely as well

I own a MK3 Mondeo Zetec-S in bright red, 2.5 litre V6 petrol manual, my god does it roar, love my car to pieces.

From Cortina's, Capri's Escorts, Sierra Cosworth, i just don't think the new Ford's have anywhere near the sort of classic car kudos that the oldies have. I just think the latest offerings will be quickly forgotten.

The old fords are still around and looking great , shame the driving skills don't seem to be around anymore :) Its called drifting these days, but back then it was just driving :) It didn't need a name when everyone could do it .

I used to have a 2.0 litre rear wheel drive Sierra and it was a bloody nightmare in the wet...if it was icy you may as well get the bus. Wish I still had it though

If they have dodgy valve stem seals they do, yeah. Mine used to, fixed the seals and now it doesnt. Up to the owner to maintain them properly, not a design fault.

back in the early 90's a friend of mine had a very tastefully juiced Sierra Sapphire Cosworth, which was an absolute beast. Now I'm all grown up I have an Evo X with just over 400kw at the wheels, and I'd be lying if I said it was faster than my friend's Cosworth. At least that's how fast I remember it being.
Please only try and do a skid when leaving a car meet if A) you know how too and B) don't have an open differential

A surprisingly small number of 2.8i and 3.0 Capris but the couple that were there sounded great. The GT40s sounded brilliant but overall the Mustangs had the best soundtrack.

The previous Gen Focus RS had some really nice and aggressive lines. Miley prefer it over the new one but we didn't get them here in America. Probably cost me a ton to get one imported.

Man ford took such a different approach to the euro market in the 80's and 90's. They held back some very cool cars from us americans. Also a 2 door st is what we need instead of this wierd foir door.
