Finally - after we started the house-hunting series over a year ago, we moved into our dream house in London 😍 I still can't believe this really happened, I'm so happy! Come along as we say goodbye to our old flat in Brentwood and for a house tour of our new home in South London. On the second day we'll explore the new neighborhood together - especially Maltby Street Market in Bermondsey. Special shout-out to / gyozaguys - thanks for the yummy gyozas 🤤

I was wondering what happened with the house hunt. Congratulations. I can’t believe it takes so long in the UK to complete a home purchase. I can’t stand waiting in this process. Yikes. Live in Australia where it can be done and dusted in a very short period of time. X

Out of interet, why did you guys go for a London vs the commuter towns in the end? We'll be making the same choice in a few years.

London is more convenient for us as we both work in the city and unfortunately company policies are changing to force you back in more and more. We thought that commuter towns also would be cheaper - until we found Rotherhithe 🤩 cycling distance to work, super quite and rather the same price as St Albans. I hope that helps!
