I had fun with my MJX, but the major issue with them is the steering design. I'm tired of fighting with it and throwing parts at it just so the thing will work right. The servo arm pointing down and the weak servo spring causes the steering to fail more often than it should. The rest of it is well made, strong drive train, but it's best on road with minimal debris. This car seems to be "cheaper made", but the fact that the servo arm is facing up should prove much better in the dirt and heavy sand. I saw this car on Run That RC, and it was very impressive! 👍

Indeed. The servo of this JJRC surprised me!
seems like a decent basher for my son, i like this one a lot, the gearing is not an issue if i swap out the pinion gear 😊
Good choice. Haven't opened it to look for adjustability, but with some cleverness everything is possible
