I was just going through RUclips and listen to some news that was making me sad and sick to my stomach then this popped up and made my day so much better. Thank you lady’s for the beautiful treasures and giggles! ❤️🤗
These technics also work well for projects with children. One year we used stamps to make refrigerator magnets and pins for an Easter project. The kids ranged from 4 to 12 in age.
@@secondhalfmama3955 you follow the directions that come with the clay. Not all polymer clays bake at the same temperature. Sculpey bakes at 275° for 15 minutes per 1/4” of thickness. Metric: 130° per 6mm of thickness.
Pretty gifts! When I try this, as I have arthritis in my fingers, I will use a small firm crafting roller to impress the stamps into the clay. I have also seen others ink the stamps before use to produce coloured designs. Thanks for sharing your skills x
Love the crockery stamps, just can't find them! Hope they will be available again soon. Watching your videos has made this stuck at home time a little more tolerable. Thank you
So glad we could make a difficult time more enjoyable ❤️ We expect the Crockery Stamp to be back in stock in the next two weeks, so be sure to let your IOD stockist know you want dibs!
I haven't watched all the videos yet ... And I am a newcomer to this craft.... Brand new interest! When you refer to baking ... What temp? And is this in a regular baking oven or special oven? And.... Do you bake them on a metal sheet and what kind of paper do you have under the polymer clay? Thanks!
Hi there! So glad you found us! We bake the polymer clay in our IOD moulds ❤You can bake it in your home oven, usually at about 275 degrees. Our moulds can only go up to 425 degrees, but it's very rare you would ever even need to go that high. You can cover the mould with a baking dish of some sort. Happy creating🤗
Just made some heart-shaped polymer hearts over the weekend and pressed stamps into them. They came out so cute! Love the idea of making coasters - may have to give them a go as well. Thanks for sharing. ❤️
Will you consider bringing back knobs and knockers stamps.? I missed out as i didnt know about IOD 😊 renovating my kitchen. So many things i could do with those.😊 take care
Thank you for a lovely tutorial that I will definitely use. You two are so funny and I love watching you create lovelies that we can make too. I used that knob topper Paris 1827 for each knob on the top drawer on my bedroom night stands. I just loved it, but then I love all the toppers...lol. Have a lovely rest of the week!
Thanks for your words of affirmation!!! We have a ton of fun filming together so it's good to know our antics can be appreciated! Ha ha! Ooh, I bet that looks amazing on your bedroom night stands! So cool!
will you please make the knob topper stamps again? I only found them in eBay for 95 dollars! I really want them but that is too expensive. I guess they are no longer made, but can you make some more?
Love me some potted meats! And I don't care who knows. However, I might be a bit mortified to wear earrings that large out in public haha jk. You guys are great.
Just wondering why your IOD clay wasn't used for these projects? Wouldn't it be a good fit? I haven't used either yet so I'm assuming the Polymer has a better outcome? Thanks!
There are similarities between air dry clay as well as some major differences in the make-up of the clays. Polymer is more suited to this type of project for its durability! Hope that helps ❤️
Ladies, I love you but you need to watch some jewelry / polymer clay vids so you are passing along correct methods and inexpensive options to your viewers. For example, you make a jump ring weak in structure by opening it the way you did. Place your pliers at 9 and 3 o’clock with the opening at 12. Now push one plier forward while you pull one plier back. This way when you close the ring, it comes back perfectly leaving no space for the wandering ear wire to escape, or for a jump ring that is out of shape and weak. As for sculpey gloss, it is a good product but you can save your money and purchase Pledge floor wax in the large bottle for 10 dollars that will last the rest of your life and you can add pigment with no problem. If you don’t feel that confident in that choice, then a polycrylic from the hardware store is also perfect if you need greater durability. Hope you are ok with me leaving these tips and keep your great projects coming!
Just a note... the Pledge wax might not be the best option for the coasters, just in case cups of hot liquids will be placed on top as heat will melt the wax finish.
We love that you shared your tips and techniques! Thank you so much! We admit we are NOT polymer experts and we have a lot to continue learning from others ❤️
@@englishcharm2449 HI, the Pledge floor refurbisher that I suggested is not a wax product.... it is a water based clear liquid that provides shine and durability. It is completely heat resistant.
Thank you so much for your saving tips. If I can save on supplies I can buy more moulds, stamps and transfers. I definitely want to keep you in my back pocket.
Danke für die vielen neuen und tollen Ideen ihr zwei Kreativegirls!!! 🥰

Not sure if you mentioned the baking instructions. Assuming you did bake them. Degree and time? Thanks these are all lovely and look like fun to make!
Work on a tile it’s oven safe and keeps the ornament flat
great tip J Sims! thank you!
What temp do you bake them at and for how long?

i would use my brayer to make my impressions. love your stuff.
That's a great idea! I gives even pressure for a more consistent impression. Thanks for sharing that tip. :)

I would love to. See a navy blue or cobalt glaze on these. I think it would be a real nice combination
It looks like so much fun 💞👍 love you ladies!
Gorgeous you guys....love all the projects!! 🥰❤️
Thank you Gina!
Loved this!
Great tutorial. You are so pretty too.
Should use wet sandpaper on polymer clay so you don't breathe the dust!
Thanks for the tip.

Great ideas girls , iv only ever used polymer clay it’s great stuff ❤️
Wow.. love this! I have all these stamps and I'm about to make a few gifts! ❤
YES!! Love that. ❤️ Happy Creating to you!
Hi ladies, love your products! Question: could you use a brayer or a small rolling pin with light to medium pressure on the stamps into the clay?
Yes you can! And that will give you more even pressure so the impression is consistent across the clay. Great idea!
Beautiful ❤️❤️
Thank you, Brenda! So glad you enjoyed this project! ❤️

Hi there! We don't typically bring back retired products, but sometimes we will revamp them! I'll add this to our suggestions list🤗
I wonder if it could roll a rolling pin over the stamps for a better image ? Is that not recommended with these stamps ?
all quite lovely. next time use chain nose pliers, though.

I wonder if they have ever tried Apoxie Sculpt or clay or any of the other epoxy clays. Each has their advantages.

Thank you. When I saw her open the jump ring I nearly screamed.
Now there’s a hole? There wasn’t one on the way in the oven.
