The first thing i do is take a cold shower, then i do some mace work (something i learned here in the Savage Army) and then some functional fitness. After that i read a book for 20min every day. Fasting is something i do already for a couple of years, my first meal is at 12u30, last meal at 20u. I love the way you communicate, it's like that voice inside that says, get the fuck up and make the best off this day❤

I gotta say, I really like these longer videos. The shorts are amazing but these longer style ones just show more of the depth of your understanding of how you live your life so it’s really cool to see and is more uplifting to watch. I’m guessing you like your privacy a bit more which I get and respect but if you ever wanted to show us more about the life in Costa Rica or just in general, we’d all be down for that! The views form the lives are always beautiful. Anyways, thanks for the life motivation Brother Savage!

Preface, im not anti lifing anytime soon, but currently struggling with doing the day to day shit.
I work as a garbage man, my m-f is 8-13 hrs daily workout from 6am onward. I feel too tired when im home to play with my son, and to give enough attention to my wife. I want to work out more because i know the human body is capable of doing more than what i do. But any time i try to set a goal, whether how small it is, i end up upsetting my wife, or missing out with my 2year old. And work could care less that ive worked 12 hr days 3x last week due to maintenance work on the trucks i use not being done, so im stuck in the middle of my routes with a broken truck for 3 hours and im just supposed to be okay with it.
Ive only started recently, like Monday of this week, started to go back to the idea, that ill make my job more of a workout, and nomatter the day its a challenge that needs to be met head on regardless of rain or shine, snow or hail, winds blowing trash and recycling all over, or animals doing it instead.
I get hung up on the anxiety of having to do something, but once im doing it its fine.
You and david are my motivators right now, hopefully i can build habita off the motivation you two are bringing.
I dont want to become my father for my son. Letting shut days at work dictate how the day is for my wife and son once im home. Least i know im stronger than my dad was, since its not every day at least..
Hope anyone who read this has a great day, be savage in something today. Be the best you you can be today. The small stuff matters, even though it feels it doesnt. A sail doesnt get raised without the rope being pulled, but the story was never about the rope hoisting the sail, but the adventure on the boat. Even though it may come up and down many times over the course of a voyage. It was still important.

There it is. I don't often comment on RUclips but for you brother I'll.
Firstly I wanna thank you for your hard work and the quality of your content, keep up the good work I like your mindset and your vibe you inspire me and helped me find a way that convinced me better than classical bullshit and stereotypes.
As for my journey, I'm a nearly 27 French yo guy attempting to become a writer. Only writing resonates within my soul and makes me happy, I tried tons of stuff before : different kinds of university cursus (Japanese culture, history and language, Law, Literature), I enrolled a time in army, I did some works : classic fast food slave bullshit, masonry, landscaper, civil service around helping dropout students as I once was myself etc. Nothing gave me the same feeling and sense of purpose than writing so recently I stopped being a society slave only searching for money to survive, I went full time writer currently working on my 1st novel. I'm only counting on welfare so it's kinda a rude life punishing every single misstep on budget and so forth but hell I feel so much more free and happy in my life that way.
I was once the kind of guy to want to be a sportsperson but never felt right in all the stuff I tried : gym and so on. But little by little I discovered you, other calisthenics athlete and those worked better for me. I bought your Savage sandbag and invest in a macebell and clubbell recently, this sport equipments feel incredible. I already had some kettlebells and slam ball those stuff are awesome. I think I'll invest next month in a pair of rings so I can workout however I can. Currently inspired by you I'm doing a 300 repetitions daily routine and that feels great. I'm wondering to start some combat sport too.
This is some parts of my most recent life choices and journey I shared with you there. I wish you all there reading this a great day and get all the shit you want to be done, be free and happy and let's fuckin go.

Beautiful video brother savage! My daily morning routine for past 3 years; Journal, meditate, 5-10 minute cold shower in the dark. Phone in airplane mode till after routine is done. Water fast until 12-1pm daily. Happy with strength I’ve developed, still have days of weakness and trying to evolve further. Anything you’d modify or add? Appreciate the read

Hello brother! Thank you for these videos. I start my journey today. It's been about 14 years since I've worked out. And even longer since I was consistent. Is there any way to talk with you directly? Thank you for these videos. Stay blessed!

Greetings, i have a question, i tried cold showers for a bit and gotta say that i liked them a lot and i was wondering, is it beneficial to do a cold shower after a nice intense workout hour one a evening?, I thank you in advance

What I have been doing for awhile now is whenever I'm taking a shower before I get out I turn the water completely cold. At first I could only handle a couple seconds then gradually stayed longer, I feel much more energetic after the cold, then getting out of a hot shower.

Do you start a shower warm and move to cold or just get in cold? I start the morning at 5am and start with a warm shower turning it to cold setting and up to 2 minutes but was wondering if I should just skip the hot phase when I can do 5 minutes.

I came to the same thoughts about phone at the morning. This thing affect too much on my mood if checking news is first thing i do after waking up. If i do the same thing in one hour or so, this information noises are not affecting on me so hard.
