  • In 2019, the University of Pennsylvania's swim team informed its female athletes that Lia Thomas, a man formerly known as William Thomas, would be competing alongside them. But the consequences of the university's decision wouldn't be limited to unfair competition. Although Thomas' teammates were told he would use separate locker-room facilities, he was instead allowed to use the same locker-room as the rest of the team, subjecting the all-female group to changing clothes in front of a man. This incident, and the University of Pennsylvania's intense crackdown on dissent, sparked many of its athletes to come forward and advocate for the future of women's sports.
Paula Scanlan, a former University of Pennsylvania swimmer and teammate of Thomas, is the latest guest on The Kevin Roberts Show. Inspired by the injustice that she and her fellow Penn teammates suffered, Scanlan now spends her time making sure that the future of women's sports is safe, and that no one has to go through her experience ever again.
Despite being part of the most pessimistic generation in American history, Scanlan fights to give hope to the millions of girls who use sports to pursue the American dream.

Paula is very well-stated and has logic and equity on her side. We can respect the views of others, but to compel women to compete in sports against biological males is illogical. What male-born person is going to feel successful in winning an athletic contest against a female-born woman?

It is so patently absurd that pointing out the obvious - that men should not compete against women in the vast majority of sports - is now so controversial as to be considered "courageous". It is outrageous that women's rights are now secondary to the rights of a politically favoured, minuscule population of men who decide to "identify as" women. It is madness. At 16, I was not even close to being an age-group national champion in the UK, but I was still faster than any woman on the planet at the time. This has to stop.

Honestly, with some of these people who come out as trans when they're involved in things like sport, it's almost like they have seen natural born women fight for, and get, equal rights, they don't like that we got them, so they've decided they're going to "take them back", which they _can't_ do, so they're taking over women's sports teams instead.
I read that a very low number of these people, after their gender reassignment surgery, are freezing finger gloves of tomato soup that they then insert inside themselves to simulate monthly menstruation. Hey, if you want it, and all the pain, and pure hell that comes with it, take it. I had so many issues with mine, I had a total hysterectomy at 35 years old. *REAL* monthly visits are NOT fun. And that's not even taking about how they make us feel emotionally.
What has this world come to if people are doing these things?
      It's not normal!!!!
I've also seen someone on SM who has come out and said that they want a uterus transplant, purely so they can become the 1st trans woman to have an a-bortion. I mean, how messed up is that?!?!? They (I will NOT can it 'she') wants a natural born woman to give up her *healthy* reproductive organs just so they can get pregnant and then be the 1st trans person to ter-minate a pregnancy.
Who would even think of that?!? How is that a good, or healthy, goal to set yourself?
Can someone please tell me what this world is coming to if people are happy to go on SM and tell the world this is what they hope to be able to do 1 day? Because with more and more people coming up with...strange ideas like this, I am genuinely starting to fear for the future of our planet, and for the future of the human race!

Ms. Scanlan, keep in mind. Austin's motto is 'Keep Austin Weird'. Austin is a very Left city. That a riot happened against you there isn't surprising. If it had been in Fort Worth, unless they were bussed in, it wouldn't happen to that degree. I pray for you and your continued courage and stamina. I pray for God's hand to to guide you and keep you safe. Keep your chin up and know that there are millions of US citizens that believe like you! God speed, young lady!!!!

Paula, please keep speaking out we are all behind you as athletes, I am an equestrian so competing against men is normal in my particular field but I do run and my brother is admittedly much better than me.

No one who is a trans should compete along with women. This is unfair, what does his or her birth certificate state.

Oh didn't you hear - you can legally (in many States - and some territories) go down to the Health Department and have them change your BIRTH SEX and reissue you a newly altered birth certificate. So that when anyone goes and looks it up - it says "you were born as X" despite the fact that you have XX or Xy chromosomes.

Exactly. You need to get rid of the transgender thoughts, in order to fix it. I’m not against the people, I’m against their lifestyle. That’s the cure, yes there’s a time to pursue justice. His name is Will and he can’t live this fantasy. The only way to keep these men out of women’s spaces is to rid them of their thoughts.

You do realize this so called traditional values you speak of don’t have women working outside the home, right? And what does it hurt you calling Lia by her requested name? The hypocrisy and elitism you’re displaying Kevin is disgusting. With that said, I don’t think Lia should have been on the women’s team. This clashes with most of my liberal points, but it is based on biology alone and timed events are very evident that there’s a difference. If you are really trying to make your point of what determines a woman in regards to sports, I think that you need to realize that your ignorance is blanketing what point this video is supposed to be making. Even your guest Paula, the sole reason you have this segment, knows better than you, Kevin.

It’s more because if he goes by this “preferred name” it gives him the okay to be someone who he isn’t.

Also, by calling him “Lia”, it’s disrespectful to who named him and it feeds his sickness. Enough said.
