Hugely entertaining to see the contrast between Otto move as little as possible and win by annihilation, and Miikka move as much as possible and win by endurance.
I think Miikka should place the ball further back to table when he smashes first time. I think that would surprise the opponent more. But I'm not pro so maybe I'm completely wrong. I have played a lot of table tennis, tennis and badminton in a decent level tho so that's why that crossed my mind. I love Otto's thoughfullnes in every shot he places them often pretty good.
I love how Miikka has these long rallies and Otto's are all like: Serve, receive, "Don't put me there" 😂

I agree, it's very sportsmanlike to give credit to their opponents like that.
I love watching Miikka play, just something about his footwork and hitting form just scratches the right spot in my brain. And the reaction speed plus the power Otto generates in his shots are just *chef's kiss*.
Yeah Miikka's form is so nice - really drives through the ball and has clean form, no unnecessary movements. That one guy he was playing against has a pretty strange after motion, like he doesn't complete his stroke in a natural way, but bends the wrist down. Not necessarily bad, but just odd haha. Especially at 5:45 he even goes down with his forehand at some point after he contacts the ball O_o Like he's trying to put every ball down the line.
That shot at 2:03 was so good even the opponent had the look of "did you seriously do that?"

What amazes me about Otto and his game is how frequently he has a clean counterattack on a ball that looked like it was very well struck at a difficult angle.
But Otto returns it HARD as though he had always been planning that exact counter... I know that you can guess what shot is coming and cheat a little to get ready for it... But that should also lead to clips of Otto planning ahead for a counter and then just getting beat because he expected a different shot. I don't see a lot of those though...

All shots or rally's are incredible but, the one at 3:09 is my favorite.
Yeah this one is really great - actually it's physics denying. It looked like it had so much backspin, and the confidence of the opponent to just smash it as hard as possible to get it over the net is something else. The look on his face is pretty frustrated though, might be one of a thousand shots. Not something you would try in an actual match.

Miikka legit plays like a flying monkey that seems to be omnipresent around the table, Otto winds up his backhand and you know the ball is teleporting behind you XD

It's interesting to see how even an international level table tennis player like Benedek Olah is sometimes having a tough time with Otto's backhand smashes. Not only are they fast, Otto is super good at masking the direction.

I Love watching Mikka doing suhc long rallys and fighting for each point, then Otto just smashes it as soon its an inch high above the net.
