    Hello everyone.
    Thank you so much for watching my little edit! I’m glad it’s entertained some of you. But I want to make a few things clear.
    1. Yes, somehow, I forgot the S2000. My bad. I was gonna make a second edit but it got copyright claimed before I even published it.
    2. I just made this video for fun. I’m not making a dime off of it. Nor will I ever, because these clips are not mine. I just wanted to make this video because I love Honda and I thought it would be cool to make, and it was!
    3. No, I don’t hate modern Honda. I wrote in the description that I don’t hate it. But I want to be up front about it here that I don’t think modern Honda is bad or anything, just a bit more boring compared to back in the day (imo ofc, if you disagree I can see where your coming from)
    Finally, thanks for watching. Have a great day!

    I think out of all the Japanese brands Honda had kept the most authentic with itself. Yeah, maybe their cars aren’t screaming VTECs anymore and they’re starting to make more EV’s, but we still have a civic SI and Type R that have 6 speeds, and they’re most certainly civic sports because they handle like a dream. I don’t mind the Honda E, either, I actually wish we got them here in the U.S because they seem more interesting than a Tesla or some crap.
    I don’t mind the changes cause to me Honda was always the company that made interesting affordable cars, not a racing giant. Their racing days were glorious, make no mistake, but I was under no impression they’d last forever, just look at Mitsubishi’s meteoric rise and their tragic fall just a few years later and it’ll tell you that no matter how good you are, sometimes you just have to change up your game to keep relevant.

    • @NNfullsend
      @NNfullsend 2 года назад +19

      agreed and the Type R get improvement (turbo) even though I disagree with the move, they are required to pump more power. not like a certain brand I wont name turning a flagship v8 sports car into a hybrid 4 cylinder because their 4 cylinder is the most powerful production engine

    Honda just pumped out the (probably) fastest FWD sports car in the market (11th gen Type R) and they are still powering a Formula 1 team (under another name) that is beating the unbeatable Mercedes on a PU level. Even if they do leave Formula 1, rumor has it that they plan to come back in 2026 since they still have the infrastructure in place.
    Also, the sendoff they had with their NSX Type-S has been special given their GT3 car has won a handful of races a well.
    They're doing fine along with Toyota. They sell enough regular cars to still produce one off modern day "everyday" gasoline sports car wonders like the Type R and Corolla GR.

    The 80s and 90s where the golden age. In Japan, in the US and also in Europe. They made great little city cars. But what they really got to perfection, were coupes. The CRX, the Integra, the Prelude, the Legend Coupe, the Accord Coupe, the EU Accord Aerodeck. But also cars like the Rover 200 Coupe had Honda DNA. And then there was the NSX.
    Yes the new ones are not so exciting anymore. But to every one that says they bought a KIA instead, I answer: look at the new KIA, look at the old Honda you owned before. What has the old one you keep missing? It's called Heritage.
