    Good basics video. One thing I would stress, especially to beginners, which is almost never shown in these tutorials, is to get into the habit of hitting File --> Save, or clicking the Save icon in the toolbar, or hitting CTRL+S often, at least after every take and preferably after each 'tweak' done with adding FX or similar. There is nothing more frustrating than the computer crashing or the software going stupid (not that I'm implying it would) and losing everything. It's never as good when you have to go back and re-create something you've lost. Just my 2 cents.

    It's great 👌❤😍
    i have question
    I do all the things you instructed with mixcraft 9, but when i want recording, the sound of my instrument is weak and it also
    records some noise and air with my guitar sound
    I don't know why 🤦‍♂️
    In general, the sound is not so cleanly recorded
    My mic : MXL440
    Sound card : Scarlet solo
    My cable is XLR to XLR Italian brand
    Can you help me my friend?

    If the key is Em, shouldn't the relative major of G be typed in there instead?

    So how do you like, double click to add a MIDI clip, that's long and doesn't just keep looping itself..?

    how would you setup Mixcraft 8 to capture browser audio played locally on PC, like a backing track, along with guitar coming in from stereo inputs on a focusrite 2i2, send to OBS and then stream to twitch and/or discord as a virtual device?

    Hi, when I arm the track I am getting a constant noise, like a beep but constant (no not the metronome). It is almost like something is plugged in the wrong way, yet it makes no noise when not recording or when not arming the track, the guitar tone sound awesome with no white noise. Also I have added a drum beat from the library but it bleeds into the recording track, even though I am using headphones. I am using an electric guitar into the guitar input on the Alesis Multimixer 4. Any ideas on what that might be? Thanks

    When using an audio interface like the one you're using, how much latency does it add?
    Is it possible to just use the computer speakers as a monitor (for example, an electric guitar without plugging it on an amp like how you probably did in the video)?

    • @acoustica222
      @acoustica222  3 года назад +1

      Hey there! Audio Interfaces shouldn't add any latency actually, but all interfaces are subject to some form of latency and some may perform better than others. As for monitoring, you would need to connect speakers to your interface to monitor the audio as the interface becomes the sound device and overrides your default speakers on your computer.
      If you don't have an interface though, you can use the Core Audio driver and monitor with your computer speakers!

    I am having an impossible time of getting the input levels adjusted.
    Either too high or too low depending on instrument.
    Slider on the mixer has no effect.
    How do you manually adjust the actual recording level?

    Hello can you tell me how I can record my midi into an audio track. Im not talking about bouncing midi to audio. I mean have a audio track recording me playing my midi synth as I am twisting the knovs changing the sound so I casn thern chop up that audio. Thank you.

    • @acoustica222
      @acoustica222  3 года назад

      Hey there! At the moment there isn't a way to do this in Mixcraft so bouncing would be required. But, we can definitely add that to the suggestions list for a future update!

      Thanks for the response. That would be great. Between mixcraft and voltage modular you guys have shown your excellent programmers. I have no doubt you guys could put a virtual track into the audio input. Thank you for your great customer service.
