This is true. There was another Gibb brother that died first Andy. He had some good songs too. Like "Shadow Dancing". Check it out!

Even sadder is that Andy was the youngest, and died first, only 30

Not quite. Eldest sister Lesley (born 1945, a year before Barry) is still alive and living with her family in Australia. But yes, the two oldest Gibb siblings are the only ones alive still.

kevin jones yasss! It makes you feel good unless you’re one of those hard-core grunge rock or hard rock music fans only. That’s why I like bands such as Queen. They did a little bit of everything and they didn’t care what the critics thought but played what they wanted to do and tried to write something for everyone to enjoy. If someone didn’t like one album, then perhaps they would like another one while another group may have liked the album before. Another one bites The dust brought it home for queen and they were not going to release that in America until Michael Jackson told them they should. It was the best business advice they ever listen to from a friend. Freddie had been working with Michael Jackson and Michael was listening to some of their music they put together for their upcoming album “! The game” and he told them they should release “another one bites the dust”. Roger Taylor said he wasn’t even so sure it was going to make it on the album because he thought it might be too disco but it was really more funk pop- NOT DISCO.They took Michael Jackson’s advice and released as a single alongside crazy little thing and it went quadruple platinum was on the charts for seven BAMM $$$$.

They started in the 50's as kids and went right up to the 2000's until Maurice passed away and then Robin. Barry (the lead on this) is still putting out music with his kids. He released a CD in 2016 called In The Now. Check it out. He's still kicking tail in his 70's.

As a 10, 11, 12 year old in the late seventies; the two huge media stories were "Saturday Night Fever" and "Grease". It's difficult to over-estimate how mkuch those two movies were - everywhere!

    Hooooboy! The Gibb brothers yo!
I remember this song came out in the movie "Saturday night fever".
Disco was the in thing. John Travolta dancing to this too took America by storm. Great reaction JB!!

The Bee Gees (Barry, especially, [He's the only one still alive - the tall lead, good looking one}) grew to resent Saturday Night Fever a lot. Because it defined their careers and they didn't want it to. They had some AMAZING Music before the movie and soundtrack and it went all but ignored after the movie and soundtrack. Check out their earlier stuff too. It's awesome - Since I was very much "alive" during the Disco Craze... I am over it. LOL ♥

No matter how a person feels about disco, you can't help but smile when this song starts. If you don't know their music, this was basically their second career. Their original music from the '60s was much more on the romantic side such as "To Love Somebody", "Words" or "Massachusetts".

But wasn't it Vinnie Babarino who after school would become Tony Manero hitting all the clubs at night, and the next day Mr Kotter would be pissed at him for not doing his homework?..lol
