Barry was the oldest and he is the only one left ... so sad.
This is true. There was another Gibb brother that died first Andy. He had some good songs too. Like "Shadow Dancing". Check it out!
Even sadder is that Andy was the youngest, and died first, only 30
Not quite. Eldest sister Lesley (born 1945, a year before Barry) is still alive and living with her family in Australia. But yes, the two oldest Gibb siblings are the only ones alive still.
One word for the Bee Gees.
Legends.
As an Aussie, if I may ....begging your indulgence. FCKING Legends! Australia icons.
Stayin Alive has to be one of the most recognized song in the world!
Because it's so good. Production, arrangement, musicianship, vocal performance - everything is perfect. A pop music masterpiece.
Only if you've stayed alive.
It has over 1 Billion views,so I guess it is
Disco may be cheesy, but it just makes you feel good haha
kevin jones yasss! It makes you feel good unless you’re one of those hard-core grunge rock or hard rock music fans only. That’s why I like bands such as Queen. They did a little bit of everything and they didn’t care what the critics thought but played what they wanted to do and tried to write something for everyone to enjoy. If someone didn’t like one album, then perhaps they would like another one while another group may have liked the album before. Another one bites The dust brought it home for queen and they were not going to release that in America until Michael Jackson told them they should. It was the best business advice they ever listen to from a friend. Freddie had been working with Michael Jackson and Michael was listening to some of their music they put together for their upcoming album “! The game” and he told them they should release “another one bites the dust”. Roger Taylor said he wasn’t even so sure it was going to make it on the album because he thought it might be too disco but it was really more funk pop- NOT DISCO.They took Michael Jackson’s advice and released as a single alongside crazy little thing and it went quadruple platinum was on the charts for seven BAMM $$$$.
@Jason Tidd I don't like disco personally, but I do respect the BeeGees contribution to the genre.
It's R & B.
Richard Scanlan They were far more than disco.
Yes!! It was never meant to be taken seriously. It's just some good old funky dance music to make you feel good. And by God it did!! :)
You can’t find a bad Bee Gee’s song, it doesn’t exist! Their songs make you happy and want to get up and dance! Every single song of theirs!♥️
The Bee Gee boy's was fine as wine! I will always love there music! 🎙🎤🎶🎵🎼🎧❤💯
Absolutely Legendary the BEE GEES in a league of their own
Most people associate the Bee Gees with disco but they did evolve through quite a few styles of music and had a lot of hits prior to their massive success with the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack.
lol I just commented this same this -
Dean L that’s true and the Saturday night fever soundtrack was more disco or pop disco. I like the album or two they put out before that. “ tragedy” that was an awesome song
They were around in the late 50's and 60's. Maurice and Robin were young boys. Still sounded great then too.
Not to mention how many songs they wrote for other people.
They had great tunes after this period too, check out their later albums like One and This is where I came in.
Nights on Broadway has to be next for the BeeGees.
i tried to like this 76 times , but it would only let me do 1 lol
lmao!...i love robins part in that.." I HAD TO FOLLOW YOU...THOUGH YOU DID NOT WANT ME TO!" haha..
Night on Broadway! One of the best songs of the Bee Gees that journeys - i LOVE it!
Yes, yes, yes !!!!
@kat lover oh, yeah! Jive Talkin' and Tragedy!
ONE OF THE GREATEST SONGS OF ALL TIME
Disco! The absolute best of the under-rated music. You just cannot be sad while listening to disco music!
Nowadays it is under-rated, but in general disco is was NEVER considered under-rated.
@@dumpsterfiregames4710 you said "nowdays it is under-rated", but it was "never considered under-rated". So which is it? Since it's popularity it has generally been made fun of, but actually had some great tunes.
One of their best is “How Can You Mend a Broken Heart”.
"How Can You Stop A Hit from Going Hot"
Yes that is beautiful , and i cant ser body , and the Sun Will sine , is beautiful songs too.
Barbra GREAT song for a slow dance but if you want to get out on the dance floor then staying alive was the best dance song !😎👍👠
So much great music by the Bee Gees....Fanny be tender....my favorite.
The Bee Gees was played regularly in my parents’ house. These guys couldn’t make a bad song. Still just as cool as ever! Try Bee Gees Jive Talkin’
Deborah Morgan you’re right! I always thought they were good regardless of what they sang.
Same here! My mom was only 22 when this came out. She loved Barry Gibb!
VocalCitizen A truly fun song!👍🏻
I swear to see your face light up while you re discover these songs fills my soul with so much excitement and joy!! You're awesome ❤
Barry's hair man...like a lion. 😂
That ain't all either! LOL
Joanne Harper A lion with a helluva roar!🦁 Bee Gees rule! Forever.
Yup, one helluva specimen of male eye candy - the original tall, dark, and handsome!
Shirley Swaine YES, YES, YES!!!!!!
It's refreshing to hear this music again. Bee Gees really rocked the 70's. You hear the beat and just start dancing, I can get my kids dancing to this song.
Bee Gees. Say no more. They are the best.
One of the greatest songs EVER and my personal all time favourite.
After this video came out everyone started carrying their coats on one shoulder like Barry Gibb does in the video lol
Bee Gees were brilliant artist's and song writer's, they wrote and produced everything.
JB. I love how you show your heart. Its makes me smile. Só many ypung men are afraid to show their hearts. Love your video reactions
I love the Bee Gees, especially Barry Gibb. All of the songs are amazing. I really enjoy watching you enjoying their music.
One word. GLORIOUS songwriting and harmonies! YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you!!!!
Good Morning Mr. Sunshine - bee gees - absolutely beautiful
It's soooooooo amazing to see the younger generation hear the brilliance of the BeeGees; the 70's & 80's totally rocked their music
Barry holds the opening note to "How Deep Is Your Love" for almost 15 seconds, on pitch and with a dip! Awesome talent!
Such a talented family. They all died too soon. Starting w/Andy who wasn’t in the band but who also had a golden voice and such a future ahead of him. Gone too soon....but not forgotten.

The 70's era was the best to grow up in!...Bee Gees, Supertramp, Phil Collins, David Boey, The Who, Chicago, Elton John, Joe Cocker, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, and more!...Timeless Legends...♥️🎤🎶
Come on man!!! You need to do more bee gees!!!!!
Too much heaven
How deep is your love
Thank you so much for this! My 2nd all time favorite artist and 2nd most beautiful man, Barry, next to Elvis in my opinion. Everything they did was great!!!
wow disco! It's been awhile hearing the Bee Gees and their frickin awesome vocals
I introduced my niece to the Bee Gees when she was just a few months old and she fell in love with their music, especially this song. Every time she'd get fussy, we'd put on some Bee Gees and she'd start smiling and swaying to the music.
I just loved the 70’s. You could go from this to Abba then on to Pink Floyd. So much choice, I was a kid in the 70’s and remember it all.
Disco was mostly shunned by us hippie-types back then, but I have always loved the Bee Gee, pre-disco, post-disco and even the disco songs. The Bee Gees transcended labels and just made great music.
Let's Dance!Bee Gees,#1Im 65and I'm staying live
Breaking news! JB hospitalized with terminal smile!
A BAILAR. Tenia 14 años. Hermoso hermoso.
This song literally helped me Stay Alive during some very dark times. I just HAD to 'strut-walk' whenever I heard it. Thank you!
I still love this song , and i love BeeGees. So sad that Robin and Maurice have left us.Happy for RUclips , so we still can see this gorgeous guys , and listen too their beautiful music.♥️
The Bee Gees are just awesome💟
I saw Barry Gibb in Chicago a few years ago; he was incredible.
There's nothing like family harmony. Voices only slightly different that blend to perfection.
Little trivia side note. Bee Gee’s is spelling out the letters “B” and “G” which are the initials for The Brothers Gibb.
FM 1 Didn’t know that! Thanks.
Actually it had nothing to do with brothers gibb, Bill gates, Barbara gibb, Barry gibb all comes to mind
Patrick Adams I think your full of it I bet he is right know it all
I love every Gibb brother with all of my heart (Barry, Robin, Maurice, and Andy). The Bee Gees have decades of hits. Decades. They started in the 50's as kids and went right up to the 2000's until Maurice passed away and then Robin. Barry (the lead on this) is still putting out music with his kids. He released a CD in 2016 called In The Now. Check it out. He's still kicking tail in his 70's.
It was awesome seeing you dance! I'm happy for you! I was dancing in my seat right along with you! Who can sit still when this song comes on?
Congratulations on hitting the 100,000 subscribers! What's the next mile-stone to accomplish? I love watching you react to songs from my youth!
Barry was certainly hot! Damn! I just had to say it. I am 68 years old, but I’m not blind. Oh yes his singing is out of this world! Lord have mercy. His wife was one lucky woman. ❤️🌹❤️
I also like "How deep is your love" by them
I love how your face lights up with good music. I love The Bee Gees. I grew up on disco. ❤️
The unique triple falsetto groove.Unrepeatable!
Only one of the three brothers is still with us, but they have a huge back-catalogue and influence, whatever some of us middle-aged may have thought about the Bee-Gees growing up.
YES!!! I've been waiting patiently for you to do the Bee Gees. Did not want to pressure but oh man... this was a genius song writing team 💃💓
This song hit number 1 the next year of it's release I was born in 1978 and this song was number 1
how deep is your love is a great one too
Oh, my God what an era. Disco was a cultural phenomenon around "77 - "78. It really exploded when the movie "Saturday Night Fever" came out. During that time the Bee Gees had like 3 or 4 songs in the top 5 on the Billboard charts and they stayed there for many months.
Just extremely talented poor boy..there were 4..the youngest Andy Gibb past away very young, check him out..they started singing very young they said we will be famous..only one left Barry Gibb.R.I.P.
I love this song and The Bee Gees!
I was in 11th grade in high school whenever this song came out. The Bee Gees always played at school dances!!
Bee Gee's were deep and this is a great song to react to if you haven't heard it.
How Can You Mend a Broken Heart is another all time great song from them.
When music was alive. This is also on my top list. It makes you like to dance 😅
BeeGees; 3 brothers, Barry, Maurice, and Robin Gibb from Australia. Soo many hits. This song is from the John Travolta movie Saturday Night Fever. They also had a younger brother Andy who was a great singer too.
Thanks for doing the Beegees they are the best
''You win again'' is another Bee Gees belter
I was 18 when this soundtrack/movie came out. EVERYBODY had this 8 track in their car and we all knew all the lyrics...good roadtrip music, too!!! BeeGees have many hits for you to check out! Love
@Lisa Barbosa I had the 8 Track too... Until my player got hungry one day and ate it. 😊
Disco at its best...bee jees are untouchable!! If you ever go to vegas..go to Excalibur and see the bee jees tribute..they do a great tribute show!!
You're a good man. Grandma must be pleased.
These guys almost single-handlely put hard rock to an end in the late 70s. They ushered in the disco era. They have some great ballads too.
Their little brother Andy Gib was great. Berry (The lead singer with the voice and hair.) is the only one alive now. So sad. BeeGees Forever. Disco is not dead.
Sounds like you have/had an AMAZING & LOVING grandmother. Your whole demeanor changes when you speak of her. 😊 You can tell how much you love/loved her & are grateful for the experiences she gives/gave you. Blessings to you!! You are killing it with your channel!! Keep it up! Much love.
It never fails. If I'm walking around at a store or somewhere like that, and this song starts playing, I can't help but to break into the Travolta strut. :D
É muito bom ter vivido está época
Is cute as soon as the music started he smiled
Check out some of their earlier hits JB. To Love Somebody and Lonely Days are great.
How Can You Mend a Broken Heart is another big one
@@noracola5285 Yes.
To Love Somebody,Massachusetts,First Of May,I Started A Joke,Lamplights,Gotta Get A Message To You...
@@draganmilenkovic3403 I can remember when I was a little girl I liked I just got to get a message to you.
It is so cool to know your grandmother listened to this. We are probably the same age. I was in my mid 20's and my boyfriend and I would dance. Damn good music! I'm thrilled you like it. Another thing the dudes were hot as a firecracker on the Fourth of July! ❤️🌹❤️
How Deep Is Your Love is my favourite by them. Cheesy as hell, but it's so so beautiful. And the lyrics are perfect.
To all the 70's babies.... Jus stand da fucc up please and say amen!!!!!!!!
This is one of those songs that everyone should have heard before!!
Another Beuty of a British band. As famous as these brothers were, are and will forever be they actually made more money writing songs for other Dolly Parton list goes on. Cheers for this mate. You’ve taking me back now I’m gonna listen to How deep is your love.
You have a most awesome grandma!
BEAUTIFUL STUFF! Wish we had more like it!
I love your reactions! And I will say this: It is because of "Reaction Videos" that so many young people, of generations after music such as this has been long gone from the public forum, have been captivated by it. AND, best of all, older folks such as myself are given not only the chance to enjoy music we already have loved before - but the chance to see younger people and those who missed out the first time around react to it now. I adore your reactions JBLETHAL, and thank you so much for your channel & the great choices you make.
James you are like me with your musictaste and fangirling while lustening to those golden oldies from my youth👍😍🍷like your channel don't stop the show
As a 10, 11, 12 year old in the late seventies; the two huge media stories were "Saturday Night Fever" and "Grease". It's difficult to over-estimate how mkuch those two movies were - everywhere!
John Travolta walking down the street to this music was epic in Saturday Night Fever....Disco baby
Hooooboy! The Gibb brothers yo!
I remember this song came out in the movie "Saturday night fever".
Disco was the in thing. John Travolta dancing to this too took America by storm. Great reaction JB!!
Love it ... disco at its best 😊
True Legends....‼‼‼‼ R.I.P. Robin and Maurice Gibb!! Also, Andy Gibb!!! 💐🙏👼💐🙏👼💐🙏👼
Barry Gibb is the ONLY remaining Member of The Bee Gees...!!!! ❤❤❤❤
The greatest trio ever...Love them to this day, those voices were amazing, this was one of the biggest selling albums for the soundtrack movie,Saturday Night Fever with John Travolta
Yes I agree To Much Heaven and How Deep Is Your Love.
I think their best ballad is "Love So Right".
The Bee Gees (Barry, especially, [He's the only one still alive - the tall lead, good looking one}) grew to resent Saturday Night Fever a lot. Because it defined their careers and they didn't want it to. They had some AMAZING Music before the movie and soundtrack and it went all but ignored after the movie and soundtrack. Check out their earlier stuff too. It's awesome - Since I was very much "alive" during the Disco Craze... I am over it. LOL ♥
So many great songs from these guys but this time frame was huge for them everyone I knew was listening to their music, I miss the great sounds from the 70's and I'll bet your g-ma dies too lol...♡
The year my wife and I got engaged. Means a lot to us. We are going on 42 years, ttl.. we are still married. We are blessed. By the way, the bee gees always rocked
No matter how a person feels about disco, you can't help but smile when this song starts. If you don't know their music, this was basically their second career. Their original music from the '60s was much more on the romantic side such as "To Love Somebody", "Words" or "Massachusetts".
We had the best music in the 70’s
Oh, that Saturday night fever!!!
Saturday Night Fever Cd is in my clock radio and this song is what I wake up to.
Your gramdma must have been something else kudos for her liking all of these songs you have mentioned
I can't hear this song without seeing "Tony Manero" (John Travolta) walking down the street! If you haven't seen Saturday Night Fever, you've GOT to watch it!
But wasn't it Vinnie Babarino who after school would become Tony Manero hitting all the clubs at night, and the next day Mr Kotter would be pissed at him for not doing his homework?..lol
@@pallen49 Ha ha! Maybe! 😂
@@pallen49 Yeah but it was for missing hiz homework~cuz he got a note...it was signed from "Epstein's mother"! 😂
77 was a magical year so many events especially in Toronto my favorite year🇨🇦💕
yees it was, Queen also was amazing back then ❤️ but also in 80's
This is how COOL looked in the 80's !!! 😎 😎 😎
