Gosh! I wish this was around 6 years ago! Went through a bitter divorce after betrayal amd with 4 kids. Learned things the hard way after by going into another relationship that ended up worse than the divorce. I ended up an atheist put out with 4 kids like a momma dog with her pups on the street. God worked tho to get me to listen!! Was single for 4 years and became the strong woman in christ and he has blessed me with the husband I always wanted not needed bc God put him in my path unexpectedly. Hope is now bigger and stronger. This is so relatable but yes remain hopeful in the Lord amen!! God is so so good!!
After three years later I came back to this message again. I am in deeper valley than I ever thought I could be 3 years ago. Thank you for the truth.
I went through heartbreak when my loved one died. I was stunned. It's hard to get through but God helped me.

My husband went through something similar over 10years ago we met and he said something similar that it wasn't easy to trust again but 10 years later we have 4 gorgeous kids and we are so grateful of the broken life restored!
Your Dad has been my favorite teacher for many years. I have not heard him in years because we don't have CSN anymore in our area. I know the Lord lifts up people for the next generation because of men like you. I sometimes get suspicious of ministers who pass on their ministries to their children like a kingdom dynasty but in this case I know God has called you to carry on your dad's work. I recently started watching Faith TV and that’s where I came to know your ministry. What you are doing for the Lord is great and His favour is on you.
This video reminded me of what I went through in 2017, and YES, I saw God's hand in our lives through it all.
2017, was a year like any other,until it wasn't. I remember not feeling like going to school at all, something was keeping me at home and I didn't know why, I just knew I had to stay. So I did. On top of it, the lecturers striked too so I was forced to stay some more.
On 25th February of that year, my mom got a call from a friend telling her that my father, who had left when I was 5, was ICU sick. When my mommy told me and I was like so? I don't see how that relates to me but I did pray for him anyway. Next day, it was a Sunday, the same friend who called my mom came to see her in the evening, minutes later, my mom started crying. But still I didn't put two and two together. It's when I was serving her dinner and I noticed that she wasn't eating that I came to the realization that he could be dead. After dinner, my mom asked me to sit down. She started saying stuff and I just went straight to the point; I asked, is he dead? She said, "yeah". So mommy managed to to talk me and my ✌️ brothers to go to his funeral. We attend and immediately after, the lecturers strike was called off. I went back to school, end of March.
Two months later, my mom fell sick, she was taken to one of the best hospitals. 10 days later, on 3 May, in the middle of my CATs, I received a call, she is gone. The only parent who we have ever had was gone. There are no words to describe all the emotions I felt. But also, there was some peace, the peace of God that surpasses human understanding, in the midst of it all. I took some time off for the funeral. I went back to school, finished my studies.
In July, my little brother, who was in his final year in high school, gets suspended(more than like expelled) from school for fighting. My big sister tried to talk to the admin but they said they wanted to talk to an adult. Suddenly, my grandpa, aunt and all those people we thought will always be on our side, wanted nothing to do with us.
Two uncles tried, but failed to get him back to school. We were desperate to get him back to school, so I decided I would go even though they were very specific that they didn't want to talk with kids. I prayed before leaving the house. I didn't tell anybody where I was going. I prayed all the way. And I remember, whenever thoughts of what I was going to tell him(the deputy principle) would come to my mind, I would brush them off and tell God to take the reins and put His words in my mouth.
I got there, found him just through with a meeting, he invited me to his office, and God, the Almighty God's presence went before me, He put His words in in my mouth, and His favour was with me and that afternoon, my little brother was back in class with his classmates. Praise the LORD!!!! Yes, when God walks with you, it doesn't matter if you are a kid or not, He will win the battle for you and will subdue your enemies under your feet!! I realised then that what God was showing us is that we don't need all those people in our lives, we only need Him because He is our father and He said He will never leave us nor forsake us and He is always faithful to His word.
My little brother graduated from high school with good grades and he is now in the University pursuing what he always wanted to pursue, BSC in Computer Securities and Forensics, my other brother is in his final year in the University.
That same year(2017) I also graduated from the University with a BA in Economics and Sociology and now God has called me for the work of His Kingdom.
And yes, we don't have parents in this world, but God has been our provider, our protector, our everything. He has shown His glory and power and might through us!!
So Ben, I hope you are doing great now and I promise you, as you quoted the Bible in this video, "everything happens for the good of those who love the Lord." He is gonna do great and mighty things that will blow people's minds through you!! Praise be to Him!!!
I am going through a heart break too. The joy of the Lord is my strength! My prayer is that I don't get out of this season empty but more in love with Christ!

I can only further state like others GOD brought me here. I have been in my "cave", like elijah, as you mentioned in your most recent radio segment. I listened and followed and believe me i cried... Until i couldnt breathe but i could kneel. I heard your words just as I spoke in my thoughts that fathers are like mothers too. I turned on the radio in my own personal cave and heard you. I had felt for days that sounds didnt even sound like music any more. Your words have healed me. I dont go to church. I haven't been since around this time last year when I was going through a lot. I prayed for the person that caused me pain - my prayer card at church was to them- not me. I now see i am who i am and going through what i am for a reason. I was brought to you for a reason. Thank you for your voice. It's constant spoken word. I see my many wrongdoings and i am so ready to live and work for God to move toward the holiness that must exist in this universe. Seriously as a current addict i cannot thank you enough that I am out of my substances, and i now have chosen to visit a HOPE dealer. With no shame. I thank you so much. You are a blessing.

Before I watched this, I prayed to God. I prayed that he would open doors for me and give me hope. Then I watched this... Goosebumps. Like God hugging me and saying: You're gonna be ok. My boyfriend who I've been with for 4 years now, has developed schizophrenia and he has turned into another person... I don't recognize him anymore. This causes me so so much pain, but God will be with us on the way.
I am broken hearted. I'm thankful saw your video. I rejoice in God and he is hope and I will keep my praises unto him even in my pain. thank you for this. I know everytging is going to be ok.
Ben I am going through a similar situation to yours here and you are so encouraging and strong. I was upset at God for letting this happen to me but he spoke to me clear as day. I found your message today and it has been such a blessing and a light on my dark situation. God is good.

I understand the pain I was supposed to get married this year June 22 2019. I have always dreamed of having a wedding but through this time God taught me that God has something planned better than what I could ever imagine. I was so heart broken when my fiancé decided to take everything he told me and the actions that he took when he had proposed to me. I had definitely prayed to God in the beginning, and God had allowed me to date this man. I had dated him and been with him for a year but God saw that this man was no ready nor trying to get closer to God. I know now God has something better, but I am growing in this season. I want to become more like Jesus!

I just came across this sermon and I was so shocked to imagine that this really happened to you Ben! I went through the same thing 15 years ago. May I say I understand what you felt because I've been there. My ex husband was a pastor when he married me, then left me and married someone else. It wasn't easy for me at all, but the Lord has walked with me thus far. I hope you're continuing to recover because it's not easy. I know.

Ben, as I was watching your service and the trials of your life. I use to live in Medford and I came to your church in 2012. By, a member of yours. Left in 2017 and returned in 2021. Then had to leave again only 3 months later. I couldn't find housing. It's terrible that we plan and save. Still it wasn't enough. I was 💔. You and your father as pastors. You have moved in my life more than I can say. I got to meet your father once face to face. I enjoyed the fellowship and hope. I miss you both, because a recording isn't as powerful as being there with God in the middle. My favorite verse in the Bible is Psalm 37.5. Commit they way unto the Lord; TRUST ALSO IN HIM, and thy judgement as the noon day. God will act on our life, and we will know what God has in-store for our life. God bless you Ben. Hope to see you again one day.

Prayers for you Ben I went through something similar. When it happened I thought my world was ending only to find out it was only the beginning to something greater. Through this hard time I came to know the Lord. My husband had 2 daughters with another woman yet my hope in God still continues til this day. I’ve been separated for 4 years and I don’t give up hope that God is at work for something great in my life and my children. Blessings to you my dear sir. Yes, thank you for more encouragement! Am going thru a deep valley. Had to turn in my granddaughter & her husband for child abuse. They are doing everything they can to keep me from being caregiver to my great-grandchildren. Their revenge to me, is telling me I will never see the children again! Praying that God will intervene! Even though this cane out in February of 2017, today, I saw Ben for the firstvtime on the Hillsong channel. I enjoyed his message & decided to subscribe to him on utube. When I looked him up, this sermon was highlighted below. God brought me here. I am suffering from a freshly broken heart. This has been such a healing blessing to me. Yes, I am in pain still but the Lord's presence is strong & palpable. Thank you for sharing your pain with us and allowing the Holy Spirit to communicate through you. He is truly Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals. God's blessings on you all. Truly God is good.

God has used you, Ben, in so many different ways in my life and in others' lives. What a great testimony you have to share God's unending love and comfort! Your grace and forgiveness in this time of heartbreak is such a reflection of Jesus and such an encouragement to everyone that He will carry us through our darkest times, and hide us in His presence. He is our rock and our fortress. I am continually more and more blessed by you and the love you have for God! My heart is broken for you, but I know that God will work amazing things through this situation and in your heart! I will be praying for you, for I know that God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we could ask or think. My heart goes out to you. He is the healer of our hearts, and He is the holder of your heart.
