Same. I have fond memories of being a kid there and playing around that fountain, and in the summer sun people would usually end up in there. Same with the fountain at Campbell Park, both now gone.

Used to be a shopping centre but not it's just mostly food outlets. Most people in don't even bother visiting Centre MK anymore. Seems most people who visit are from outside of MK.

Centre MK I believe to be the worlds best shopping centre. If there is a better shopping building than this, I've yet to go there. Lakeside, Meadowhall, Metro Centre are not even close to this place. Even big malls in Florida not as good as this. It's sad to see all the sheep wearing masks though.
It's sad to see someone still denying that masks work to keep the vast majority safe and well. That aside, the architecture and overall ambiance of CMK are pretty special.

Yeah... Best to avoid the estates around the centre, unless you fancy your chances. Just a heads-up for any potential visitors. (Edit: Lakes estate isn't too central, but still a bit iffy.)
