I was actually just wondering about this myself since this is something I've always noticed each year, but even though the Atlantic hurricane season usually lasts between June and November, how come it always seems like we get more hurricanes around late August and early to mid-September for some reason? How come it always seems like September is more of the peak season for hurricanes then, especially around this time since we're already in September now?
