What is Mosaicism in embryos and should we transfer these embryos back into mother’s womb?
That’s a million dollar question in the area of PGT cycles.
With increasing maternal age , previous failed IVF cycles or repeated miscarriages ; PGT cycles are being offered to couples as an option to help them get a Normal ( Euplpid ) embryo. But not always PGT reports are black and white and they often report the embryos in three categories. Euploid, Aneuploid & Mosaic embryos. Decision making for Mosaic embryos becomes challenging but growing evidence suggests that they too can be considered for transfer.

I have 3 miscarriages n 1 failed IVF in 8 years of marriage now I have done 2nd cycle of IVF n two 2 embryos r made .my NICS report shows one is abnormal n one is low mosaic embryo.now I'm totally confused what to do . should I transfer it or not plz 🙏🙏 sir suggest me n also pray 🙏🙏🙏for me that god bless me with healthy baby

Good morning sir my self laxmi am from telangana. 7 abortions has occurred in 7 years of my married life .now am taking treatment of IVF . PGT report has 2 abnormal embreo and 1 embreo has low level mosaic mitoscore is 0.0032 this is my situation plze sir give me a suggestion what should I do where it should transfer or not plze sir I am hope less in this situation

Dear Laxmi
Yes u should transfer that embryo. We pray for u that u conceive with that one but even if you don’t ; you can come to us and try one more time. Remember u can conceive so ultimately you will have baby. If not in this then next cycle.
