Absolutley love the new series. I loved the original too, but this show is still far better than 99% of comedies made today. Grateful to Paramount for a second season!
Pales in comparison to the original, which was so well written and acted. I am sure they would say they are not trying to be the original, but as a viewer, it's inevitable. Having said that, the new show deserves a second season. Peri Gilpin is so nervous asking questions
The thing with Cheers and the original Frasier is that they were almost British in their style. The new Frasier is very, despite the amount of British actors, American and what I mean by that is that the actors know they're in a sitcom and act that way. Especially true of the background characters that just don't feel real at all, whilst the background characters on Frasier (the radio station crew, the staff at Café Nervosa, and the bit parts/recurring roles) I never question. One example would be the Café Nervosa barista that had to keep making an increasingly fussy Frasier a new coffee and that _disdain_ from the barista just emanates from the screen. Not one of the new Frasier fire station background characters has that in them.
Love love the show, embarassed how many times I've watched new episodes. Have always wanted to comment on Olivia and Smokey. I have some of my best biggest laughs with Olivia, watch them over and over. When she is the center of action, in the scene, she is amazing. ("Dance Bear Dance," bad mouthing the other trivia teams, omg so great). When she is not in the scene, just in background, her faces tend to be not believable; might be better for her to have no expression instead. On other hand Smokey is one who is the master of the look, an expression when she is in background, not actually in the action. She is so nuanced and it's like you're really there, or she is; that brings a lot to the scenes. So in summary I love them both!
There is an opportunity to correct a mistake from Frasier c.1995, I hope the Frasier writers read my suggestion. In Frasier c. 1994, Martin says he never had a brother, but a few seasons later we see the brother in the Greek episode. To mend this, in 2024, Freddy can something on the lines “Hey dad, didn’t you pretend not to have a brother when you argued with Niles, and grandpa did the same with his brother, well I’m doing the same; I don’t have a cousin, David really annoyed me today”.
Enough with the trophy obsession, Hollywood. It's time to grow up. Only kids get trophies. Adults, especially rich and powerful adults, shouldn't need trophies.
Hey, writers of this.... Do you actually know Estonia is not a slavic country and the Estonian language sounds like Finnish? So no, the "Estonian Nobel price writer" would not have "russian" sounding name, would not have russian accent and would not look like if he is born in Mexico, cos a typical Estonian is blond with blue eyes. Or should that be also a joke.... that all Americans think each country east to Germany is Russia?
I think Freddy is very good. Frasier obviously great. David is weak and it's not the actor's fault, it's the writers. Better writing could quickly fix the issue

thanks to Kelsey Grammer. I have watched the old series about 7 times or more now. So glad to see him back as Frasier.
mee too, cheers as well

Yess this still has that real feel from back then, other shows just dont feel real and overdone.
What a wonderful cast and show. Jess is my favorite!
love the new show. still love the old show.
Jess's hair is so gorgeous. Some people are just so lucky. 😭
Anders does have a little Niles in him
Definitely 💯

Such a good series, this was a good watch too, can't get enough with the cast all together.
I am a multiple time watcher of each episode, all 264, of the old Frasier, and I am enjoying the new Frasier as well
I didn't realise thr actor who plays Freddie is actually British.
I really want Frasier to go back to the Cheers Bar in Boston. I would love that. Bring back Ted Danson and Shelley Long too.

so excited for the new season
Gimme 9 more seasons
The old Frasier was excellent. That's all I have to say.

great character. there will only be one Frasier though

Nice work, I think they should use it and pay you for the lines
@@shanemcnally2069 ha ha! lol.

Eventually a long time into the future when the show ends the finale should be called "a third and finale farewell"
I Love You All My Frasier Casts Friends. Especially My Buddy Kelsey Grammer. Love Your Friend Joshua Stange In Ripon California ☺❤

Concordo com você!!!
Trophies can translates to more eyeballs
Nickelodeon they should make a new movie of characters the Huge crew from Ned school survival guide
And a new you can't do that on television.
Were is sonic 3 movie trailer
New Frasier needs better writers, to maintain the quality.

I wish I loved the new show. But I find the characters oddly artificial. Loved the old show though.

Very good actor but Grammer is better... unless you're a Frasier anglophile

New version is completely dreadful. Grammer = Trumper
Who cares who someone supports politically? I haven't seen anything in either shows where the script has told you who to vote for.
