THANK YOU!!! I consider this the best tutorial I've seen on C2C. It has helped me where I was confused.
You're very welcome! So glad you found it helpful! 🌸💕
Do you know the difference between a struggling student and a student who understands? THE TEACHER. And may I just say, you are an EXCELLENT teacher when explaining the C2C crocheting method. I have watched some other C2C tutorials and have ALWAYS been confused on one part or the other, but you have explained this so clearly that there is no way not to understand it. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video and for sharing it with us. God loves you. God bless you.
Wow, thank you! Your kind words really do mean so much! 😊❤️ I am so happy you found this tutorial helpful for you. I know this technique can be very confusing - especially at first - and I really wanted to make a video that would be helpful for the absolute newbie to this technique. I really appreciate your feedback Mary!
@@nanascraftyhome you are welcome. And you are a wonderful teacher. I hope you continue to teach crocheting to those of us who enjoy the art and wish to learn. God loves you. God bless you.❤️
I'm so excited that you're going to be teaching Corner-to-Corner, starting with the basics and then moving forward! I've been wanting to learn this technique for a while now... Glad I could help! I hope you fall in love with c2c 💕💕🌸
Great video. You explained every very succinctly, helped me have success. PS, the colour of pink you used for the tutorial is quite pretty. Some are too bright, or pale, or too mixed with a purple or red, but this shade is perfect.
Glad it was helpful! So glad you like the yarn choice 💕🌸 Thanks for watching!
Wow! YOU are an awesome teacher 🤗🤗 anxious to try. Sharing with a friend as well.

Very nice tutorial, and easy to understand. Thank you for sharing! ❤️
I am very new to C2C and would like to ask if people make C2C projects in other stitches than DC so the finished project is not so airy? Eg.hdc or other? 😍
So glad you found it helpful! Yes, absolutely! I also have a tutorial for making c2c projects in the mini c2c (half double crochet) technique as well. You can find it here: nanascraftyhome.com/mini-c2c-tutorial-corner-to-corner-crochet/
Your videos are very helpful and easy to follow, thank you so much! I want to make a rectangular blanket with a very thick yarn but I am not sure If I should Just keep going on by increasing one side and decreasing the other side till I get to the right measurement and then do the oposit ? would you please help me for this matter?
I would be happy to help! For a rectangular blanket you would continue increase both sides until the first side is the size desired, then continue increasing on just 1 size to get to the size desired for that side. It really doesn't matter what yarn you use (thick, thin, etc.). Just decide what dimensions you want and then increase to that size. I hope that helps but let me know I you have any additional questions! So glad you found the video helpful! 😊
Thank you for your quick response, I really appreciate it!
I'm glad I found this video. In your video, you increase then turn your work. Would it make any difference to turn and then begin the increase?
That would be entirely personal preference - whichever way works better for you! So glad you found the video helpful! 😊
How do u know to decrease when doing a graphgan . Ty
Are you wanting to decrease at the same time or do you want a rectangle shape?
Hvordan hekler vi inn hjerte når jeg gar 9 omganger tilsammen.
My only question from watching you, (mostly on the decrease part) I sometimes count you making 3 slip stitches across the top and sometimes 4 slip stitches. Did you just forget to ss into the top of the chain 3 (I think it was the second to last round the first time) when I only counted 3 or am I getting it wrong? Is it always 4 slip stitches across the top? (The three into the tops of the DC and the one in the top of the chain 3). Thank you! I'm trying to create my own cheat sheet to keep in my crochet binders for future purposes, and I just want to get it right. :) Your tutorial was really thorough and I liked that you didn't speed it up too much and actually showed what you were doing for the entire process :)
So glad you found my video helpful! Sometimes I catch myself changing it up on the outside - but either 3 or 4 will work. I hope that helps!
Hello! Thank you so much for your excellent videos! I am a beginner C2C crocheter and of course, picked an asymmetric rectangular afghan as my first project! I'm halfway through and will have to start over as I did not use the bobbin technique (a definate must) and carried my yarns across the back. My question is this: my pattern has a definate right and left side to the design so it matters which direction your rows go in. How can I make sure that I do this correctly? When I finished row 70 (had been increasing all along), I was on the opposite side of where I needed to be to start the decrease on the right. I am going to start over but afraid I will run into the same problem. Does this make sense and what can I do to avoid this next time? Thanks!
I am so happy that you found my tutorials helpful! Have you watched my tutorial on how to make a rectangle in c2c? If you haven't this tutorial may help you understand better how to decrease on only one side at a time and you can find a photo tutorial here: nanascraftyhome.com/c2c-crochet-rectangle-tutorial/. The Video tutorial is here: ruclips.net/video/M5jaP_nd58g/видео.html. I hope that helps!
@@nanascraftyhome Thank you!
I have about 200 of these c2c squares that I've made with the intention of making a quilt out of them . Do you have a video on how to attach them together? Thank you in advance..
I do have a video for how to sew c2c panels together after you have added a border ruclips.net/video/u3Rzid8B8uw/видео.html However, if you need to find out how to add a border to a c2c project I have a video for that as well ruclips.net/video/oEOHCKE_LIw/видео.html. Hope you find them helpful!
@@nanascraftyhome thank you so much!
I wanted to know is there a reason why you do the slip stitch on the top of the chain space instead of the chain 3 space like I have seen on other videos. Does it make it the DC’s in the chain space look better.
I believe this gives a nicer appearance to your finished item. However, experiment with both and see which way you like better!
Thanks for responding so quickly. Can you do a video on how you do your bobbins and how to know how many to use with a lot of color changes. I can send you a picture of the unicorn blanket I want to do for my daughter if you could give me some suggestions.
@@shellyware2318 have you watched my video yet regarding color changes in C2C? If not, it may be helpful to you. If you still have any questions please let me know! ruclips.net/video/SbG78BvZw8E/видео.html
Thanks again. That video is very helpful. I hope to see more videos soon. You explain things very well. Keep up the great videos.
@@shellyware2318 I am so glad you find my videos helpful! Thank you for those kind words!
Is there a C2C online calculator to tell you how big your blanket will be my measurements in my pattern say 100 x 100
Hi Teresa - just sent you an email response. I hope it helps! 🌸💕
How do I maintain on the c2c ? Pls help
I am happy to help Beth! Do you mean you want to maintain the size and not increase the width or the height?
Question, I'm doing a c2c graphgan where it says row 1 is RS. So mine would be opposite of this video, correct? It looks better if row is WS to me, lol. But I'm trying to follow pattern. I've heard if stitches on row 1 is facing left with chain on top, then that's the RS side, but that doesn't match with this video and another I have watched. Frustrating.
Frankly, I choose whichever side looks best to me so I don't worry too much about RS/WS. However, once I have chosen a RS it is important to stick with it throughout the graph otherwise it will start to go off. I hope that helps!
I am left handed. Do I follow the same sequence, staerting at lower right corner?
You would work from the opposite corner as a left-handed crocheter. Sometimes it is great to "see" it left-handed so here is a tutorial from another designer who is showing it as a "lefty" and I hope it helps you: ruclips.net/video/hg_54iL5a20/видео.htmlsi=-klcIBnHyAZssprK
@@nanascraftyhome Tonya is doing it right handed.
Hello. I want to make a C2C blanket for my 12 year old grand daughter's birthday in August.
I like your tutorials.
Question, Are the Patterns available to be downloaded to print out?
Thank you.
Also, what size Hook are you using?
Are you looking for a full color graph or are you wanting to just make a c2c blanket?
I am using a size H (5.0 mm) crochet hook - hope that helps!
@@nanascraftyhome a C2C blanket. Also, I am left-handed, if that matters when turning. Ty!
@@conniegriffin8872 At this time I don't have a pattern for a non-graph c2c blanket but here is a free one at Yarnspirations for a rectangle shape. Working left handed won't make any difference - you are just following graphs from the left to the right instead of right to the left. Hope that makes sense! www.yarnspirations.com/red-heart-corner-to-corner-ombre-throw/RHC0502-024676M.html
