Gwen was always a true friend to miles. She always cared, loved, respected and mostly wanted to protect miles from all of this. And there are some people that still can’t see that. Plus the most hardest thing she had to do through the whole movie is that she had to sacrifice being friends with miles though that she wanted something more. She was willing to put friendship over relationship by suppressing her true feelings for him. To not only save her self but also miles.
When she first saw miles, she straight up hugged him because she missed him so much and couldn’t stop thinking or talking about him for entire year. Not only that she blushes when she saw mile’s sketches of her. Every time I see Gwen’s reaction when miles said that they are the same. It’s like she saying do u really think so?” in a happy genuine way. Plus let’s be honest she literally admitted her feelings for him when she said in every other universe Gwen Stacy falls for Spider-Man but can’t fully commit in having a relationship with miles because of the canon. And the stare she gives him after miles saying the first time for everything line. Just screams out she is in love. I just love how Gwen doesn’t deny he is in love with her and mostly doesn’t deny that she is in love with him. “What I always think ur amazing” after that line she said Gwen turns pink showing her true feelings and admiration for miles. And the way they both look at each other in that scene u can tell they want to be a couple. Gwen is always worried about miles getting hurt and the face she makes when miles glitches is adorable. The jealous scene is hilarious because it shows she is mainly attracted/interested in miles. Like the girl got him on a leash. Hobie calls them Gwendy and Peter Pan because he is rooting for miles and Gwen to get together at the end. Plus I just picked up on this now but when he tells miles “ let’s go” he turns grey and while Gwen has miles on a leash he shakes his head. Which means that he is disappointed that miles was still talking to Margo and making Gwen jealous. Man wants them together more than anyone else. The fact that she was pink when miles was right beside her at 4:50. Jaut screams that she loves that miles is finally with her side by side and willing to protect miles by saying it’s not his fault in front of Miguel. And the way they stare at each other when Peter shows photos of mayday. Just makes me laugh because it’s between they are thinking “is this guy ok?” or “ Is this going to be us in the future”
THEY NEED TO BECOME A COUPLE Miles is ready for it but Gwen still isn't ready for it emotionally but I hope when she gets him back home safely in the next film she finally feels ready after everything they've been through together but also separately
If they stay friends in the next movie, either Hobie is gonna start a fight (probably biggest Ghostflower/Gwiles shipper), or he's gonna make Miles his.
