I believe you'd have greater success by switching between clockwise & counter-clockwise rotation and possibly some more leverage. I'll stick with the mixer, but I think this thing can work. If you're pressing down it should stay in place, though rubber feet will certainly help a lot. Give it a shot, maybe this video can be revised.
I thought you are suppose to put one hand on each handle then twist. So you use two hands. One hand on each handle and then you use your hands to twist back and forth like 10 x then your done. I hope I am not wrong.
Overall it’s worked better for us just grabbing the whole thing one hand on the bottom one on the top and twisting it that way. The handle can feel pretty flimsy when trying to shred a whole chicken breast
Also, we stated in the video, you had to use adhesive to stick it to the counter and no one wants a chicken shredder permanently attached to their counter.
I don’t own a KitchenAid but can the bowl and attachment go in the dishwasher? $20 for the shredder isn’t bad.. I would probably use my handheld mixer 😅
@@samusg32ifymaybe you have comprehension issues, but we stated we weren’t going to affix it to the countertop. Thus we spun it like that. Grabbing the top or the handle doesn’t change the mechanism for shredding but maybe if you had comprehension behind basic reading you’d understand that.

The shredder thing doesn't seem easier than 2 forks. I have more cleaning to do afterward--more scrapping and rinsing before I toss it in dishwasher.
