Nein! Ginola schlug im Spiel gegen Bulgarien (beim Stand von 1:1 in der 90. Minute) den Ball unnötig nach vorne, anstelle ihn hinten abzusichern, daraus entstand Ballbesitz und folglich der nächste Angriff von Bulgarien, der mit dem 1:2 aus Sicht von Frankreich endete!
They simply weren't as good as Bulgaria and Sweden. But it's not a shame to lose against the soon-to-be 3rd and 4th in the world. Sweden had K. Anderson, Brolin, Dalin and Larson. Bulgaria had Stoichkov, Balakov, Kostadinov and Letchkov - France didn't stood a chance

While the 1993 Norway - England game was an upset no doubt, both teams had several games to go. England could still have qualified after this game with 3 games left, and Norway could still have missed out with 4 games left to play. In the end though - Norway got through to the WC while England failed.
