- I saw this coming, the cats finally gave out on my 2019 mustang gt I guess the whipple was just too much for them so the car started throwing check engine codes. I had to get the cats deleted. The car got louder but thankfully my new Magnaflow exhaust is adjustable.

AØ going from a BRZ to a Camry would feel faster my guy. No jokes the same year Camry vs the BRZ/86 the V6 Camry has better 0-60 and better quarter mile time .

You should use the gopro mount more often or invest in a mount inside the car. Holding the camera and driving a manual looks awkward.

Get a custom tune man, I stated it in another video. That will take care of your cats. Everything runs so much better, and I have power through all the rpms and gears. I have the stage 2 also. Its worth it.
The active exhaust is worth it btw. With the borla atak and having active exhaust its the best of both worlds. Can be silent when I want to

Did you put long tube headers in? I’m looking to get a manual 2018 GT and putting a whipple on it. What’s the best setup that you recommend?
Bandit9 he has stock headers, just cut the cats out and welded another pipe in its place. You can whipple the car on stock exhaust and still make good power. But if money isn’t an issue go with an entire 3” exhaust. Catless headers x pipe and I’d say some valved mufflers. Coyotes sound raspy and are going to no matter who you go with so it’s really up to how much you’re gonna want to spend.
Long tubes will get massive gains on a blown car probably 50whp id recommend it my NA 5.0 gained hella tq from long tubes
U can hook up the actuators to 3 level switch and power it up with a relay unless it uses PWM then you'll need a circuit for that.

i think you should do longtube headers and an axle back exhaust. Free flowing but not to loud.

Yes you do. You can either get it taken out with a tune, or you can do it the right way imo and pay 50 dollar's for mil eliminators. You plug them into the o2s and plug them into the harness of the car. It eliminates the engine light, and tricks the computer into thinking the cat's are still therem

Can’t remember...you still running the OEM headers? That thing would sound good with long tubes with high flow cats and ditch that extra fuel backfire junk tune lol that tune is what is making it obnoxious. Probably would be fine without just reflashing and not changing anything on the exhaust

Bro, my drive side cat failed on me too, it damaged my engine. Did a compression test and had low compression on cylinder 5, had to rebuilt short block. Now the engine is bulletproof with forged internal. Removed the cats.

@@tylerparker1959 yes, my engine builder noticed drive side cat was melted. I'm running stage 2 whipple. Be cautious when running supercharger you have to make sure tune is on point. I've learned my lesson, cats are removed on my car, plus the extra Hp is awesome

Rush, who;s tune were you on. was it whipples or someone else's. Man you got lucky ,many peopel dont get away with that. Super glad you got it taken care of. I suggest you order the OPG yourself. I ordered min from MMR and i can show you pics, they were not finished well at all and i ended up spending quite a few hours polishing them myself before installing them. If i hadnt , guaranteed they would have torn up the pump housing.
It was the Whipple tune, and yeah I haven’t pushed the car since they started to fail.

I went catless in a boosted gen 2 and had to retune , had high flow cats they melted, they are a catastrophe waiting to happen

Dude i knew this was gonna end this way, be lucky my kit was warranted so I had to keep trying with cats...on the 3rd engine I put catless long tubes ( and OPG/S while new engine was on stand).
The header kit come with "faux" cats which we tig welded a cheapo 90 degree O2 simulator in and hooked the rears up...drove it several cycles on the 50 stages legal tune zero lights...
Then went Lund...omg....but same boat stock cats couldn't take it then it was operation holy this is 1 to loud, i am on H pipe using a vibrant bullet style resonator in front of muffler....it helped a lot but I want a X pipe mid muffler soon....cause it's insane after 1/4 throttle

2019 Mustangs needs more than Forscan to work. There’s something in the PCM that needs to be enabled.

It's illegal to remove cats in every state......some just dont enforce it as much....in Michigan no one bothers you if you dont have them, but most actual shops wont remove them
