hey steve, hearing that your birthday is june 16, which is the same as mine, I shed a tear realizing that while i was celebrating with my family you were in so much pain, not even willing to think about it being your birthday. I hope you recover swiftly
"She doesn't owe you medicine" is actually one of the most fucked up things i've ever heard bro. You're reaction to her not giving you medicine was completely normal. Especially when you haven't slept good for almost a month. All things aside, i'm so happy you're recovering now.
there is no one worse than 0 giving f's people in hospitals recently i went through a horrible stomach flu, by far the worst ive felt in general for the past 10 years and god, you only realize how good it feels being healthy the moment you are at your lowest. I couldnt drink, eat properly, i was absolutely dehydrated and i lost 3kg, it was horrible in every way Im glad you managed to solve all of this out, life is unpredictable and in a day you can go from the best day of your life to your worst nightmare, anyways, stay safe, im glad you are fine now
So glad to hear you're recovering now, when I was in the hospital there was another nurse like that who when I was worried about being pricked with a needle after anesthesia started shouting at me that if i didn't calm down she'd knock me unconscious with drugs, these people shouldn't be in the industry man
I had a similar situation in May of this year that got me hospitalised for 4-5 weeks. And it just came out of nowhere leaving me with 4 hours of sleep at best and I know how hard these things our so I’m so sorry for what happened. 😊
Hey man! I can only imagine what you have been through. I have a good friend with a heart disease, but she was diagnosed as a child so she never had this kind of living nightmare. I just want you to know that there are people with similar conditions and that you are not alone, life can still be normal. I hope you fully recover and that you and people you hold close will be able to also recover mentally after the toll I imagine it put on you all. I wish you all the best going forward and the Minecraft community will always have your back! ♥
A situation like this rly sucks especially over the short summer break and your birthday, I am so sorry for what u had to go through and glad ur making a recovery, I will add that you thinking it was the chest pains you heard about on TikTok is perfectly reasonable as every little while a muscle in ur chest contracts and causes pains that feel similar to a heart issue but does not cause harm. Glad you’re making a recovery and bless those doctors and nurses who helped u.
I'm ngl man. No one I know could go through this. this is the exact reason why I hate hospitals.. I hate to see such a great guy go through such a horrible thing
Always insightful seeing videos about rude staff in hospitals reminds me to have good patient centered care and remember how patients pain is completely subjective.
Bro as someone who’s in the healthcare field, this whole video pissed me off. The fact that nurse refused to give u ur medicine is genuinely messed up. You were in no position to apologise. Anyways glad ur feeling better man praying for the best.
this is absolutely disgusting. having 2 nurse escorting her for a apology is like 2 adult telling a kid to apologise to a school bully since the kid confronted the bully.
ur the chillest youyutber on the platform, and it sucks u had to go through this dude. hope u have a good life and nothing like this pops up for u, or for anyone
I have to say i can relate to you a tiny bit, i had epiliepsy back in 2019 and even though it wasnt really painful since you would just wake up from seizures like nothing bad wouldve happened, you were completely numb but with no pain, it was hard to walk or even crawl, but the most annoying part abt all this was the fact that this shit in the hospital spanned over 3-4 years after having 3-4 seizure, i can now say i am free from that hell anf no longer have to have my hair being full of gel and having wires stuck into it or having to go through any more MRI scans. Im happy that you got out of the hospital too and i hope that nurse stubs her toe on the way to work every morning. I hope you make a full recovery and gl to you man 👍
hey man! glad to hear you are feeling better. nurses are legally not allowed to refuse prescribed treatment to any patient, especially for petty reasons. i'd recommend you file a lawsuit - it will end up being seen by hospital administration. best of luck on your recovery.
hope you stay well bro this sounds horrible. Ive had a similar situation having had severe abdominal pains (on and off) and being unable to lie on my side for about two years now. Similar to you i have had multiple scans of all types been in and out of the hospital and had lots of blood tests. The pain has subsided the last couple of months but i still do not have a diagnosis. Glad you got sort of got one and are feeling better.
I know how much canola hurts as i was in a situation where i got like 3 canolas each day. Its so good to hear that ur ok rn and i wish u get better asap
I never thought problems get this much of a hell of a pain to a human. Quite shocked to be honest and I am glad you're making good progress with your help.
This is really sad to hear dude. I hope you make a full recovery. I want to go do a blood check as I also get random chest pain but this story actually made me kinda scared now
Bro Steve Idek how u managed to cope with some of those nurses. Being refused healthcare is some next level shit. So glad ur better man God bless you ❤
2 hours for an ambulance, doctors with an attitude not willing to accept that there’s something wrong and nurses that are too entitled to give someone their medicine, absolutely ridiculous. Shoutout to all the people working in healthcare who care about doing their job correctly.
“We don’t owe you medicine,” that is literally their fucking job. I’m so sorry this happened to you, give us an update when you sue the nurse because there is no way you could lose that case.
No offense, sorry for what happened but the canola being left in is normal, I have been to the er like 6 times this year ( I am special lol ) the only time they took it out was when it made my arm a lil purple
I had the same story, but i was not the one in hospital, it was my brother. He had some kidney disease that i cant even spell out in english (Glomerullonefrite and gastrite in russian, idk about en). He was struggling for a week at home because we didnt think it was something really serious, but after he started to lose his hearing and couldnt eat anything except soups, my mom and him went to hospital immediately, took some scans and tests and the results showed that he was literally already dead. As nurses said, they didnt even know how tf was he still walking. As my mom told me, the nurse left for 15 minutes, told them to wait, and after all of that some random guy with the thing they carry you laying on and said "Alright, lets get you to the resusciation" like if it was some youtube video. When the resusciation arrived, they saw my brother move freely and refused to put him there, refused to listen to the nurse saying that he literally shouldn't be alive by now. After all they actually did agree on sustaining him there, the reason why he was in resuscitation is that because he needed to be watched 24/7 for several days. After 2 weeks he was transfered back to the hospital where he spent almost 2 month recovering. Later on turned out that he had several diseases and the one that caused him to get into hospital was the one that should not have had any symptoms until the final stage where the patient has no chance of surviving, and if there were no other diseases, he would be dead. The nurse that refused to put him on to 24/7 observing after like 15 minutes of talking right infront of their patient should be fired for sure. Later on he recovered in 4 months, spending new year and christmas in the hospital. Im glad that you recovered from all of that and i really feel bad for what has happened to you. Best wishes.
@@thelaststeve yep, he is much better now. After two years he is only left with lifetime medicine (it's literally just 3 pills a day in the morning), which is probably better than death sentence
my dog has basically the same issue where he has water in his lungs and heart, he doesnt seem to be in pain but they found this in the 1st time that we been to the vet they found the issue... which is just unlucky that you didnt get competent enough doctors to check for this
My family runs a hospital, it is common to leave a canula is, this is so that they can give you another drip if they have to and so that of incase they do remove it the next time they will have to prick you again and it can be hard to find a vein.

sued too honestly
They usually leave the needle in for 72hours after to administer medication, fluids or for blood transfusion.
I think we tried to complain or smth but it never got through to the ‘important’ people

Yeah as an EMT I can confirm that that's extremely unethical and against the rules
