I disagree with him when he says the Batswana made up this story to claim the land or their rights to the land. He is mixing western history with traditional Oral history. We all know that nations of Africa were hunter-gatherers before being agriculturists, essentially all of us were so called bushmen. Thats why the Batwa, Barwa or San and Khoi people feature very prominently in North Africa, specifically Kemite history. Its possible for us to originate from the South and comeback again and again. If one nations arrives in 1871, does it invalidates nations that arrived pre-colonial times, pre-europe times? Our glory days as Africans happened way before white people came into existence, how can we expect them to tell us about us?
