Prawns are fried after mixing with various spices and a coating of rice and corn flour gives it desired crispiness
METHOD
1.Prawns / Shrimps - 500 gram
2.Clean prawns well after deveining them with lots of water
3.To these prawns add
Kashmiri red chili powder - 1 tablespoon
Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
Salt - as required
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Few chopped coriander and curry leaves
Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Diced green chillies - 2
Mix them well
4.Then for binding add
Corn flour - 1 tablespoon
Rice flour - 1 tablespoon
Mix
5.Heat oil for frying and add prawns in batches and fry till crispy this may take 5 to 8 minutes.
Wowwwww ... this is the first time ever I have cooked anything other than maggie and omelet... and my family took atleast 15 mins to digest that I really cooked and it was not some parcel from a hotel ... thank you very much for this simple yet tasty recipe
